Job Overview:

We are currently looking to hire a Senior Developer within the Regulatory & Risk team, which is part of LPL's Technology organization. This position is responsible for leading a team to deliver data integration projects across a wide variety of systems in support of business functions and processes to improve advisor experience.

Essential Functions

• High Proficiency in developing Oracle PL/SQL packages.

• Strong understanding of PL/SQL scripts

• Adhere to industry standards and methodologies for software development.

• Collaborate with analysts, modelers and other developers in building, updating large application batch processes

• Maintain technical documentation that facilitate understanding, maintaining, reusing and refactoring of code

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree and/or relevant experience in IT related software development or support

• 5+ years' overall experience in design and development and 3+ years of PL/SQL packages

• Strong understanding of PL/SQL scripts

Additional Skills:

• Strong SQL knowledge, creating SQL scripts with relational database (ex. Oracle, SQL Server)

• Experience in supporting and monitoring application batch processes

• Experience with creating batch jobs using Job scheduling tool

• Knowledge of industry Compliance tools. Such as Oracle mantas or Nice Actimize

• Experience with DevOps toolchain that enables CI/CD pipeline (e.g. Octopus)

• Strong problem-solving skills (e.g., root cause analysis) to debug or improve existing systems

• Experience with Agile software development methodologies

• Financial services industry experience is a plus

• Experience with design and development of services with high performance and scalability

Pay Range:

$103,360-$155,040/year

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
