AvidXchange is looking for an exceptional Senior Product Manager for our payment services product known as AvidPay. The payment product enables businesses to automate their accounts payable process. This product has a unique blend between technology SaaS based solution and a high touch service delivery model. The hired candidate will possess a strong understanding of product delivery within the digital and service space. This role will be responsible for the strategy, roadmap, innovation, prioritization, influencing operational teams, and financial/ROI analysis of a subset of products within the AvidPay product domain.
The Payments Experience team will be future-oriented and focused on new offerings and capabilities to support strategic planning. The Senior Product Manager will work collaboratively across AvidXchange to ensure the Payment Strategy continues to propel AvidXchange forward in a fast-moving, rapidly evolving industry.
Complete market research, facilitate workshops, and perform customer visits to know and passionately advocate for your customers daily
Own the full end-to-end customer experience for your product area
Gather and generate product insights through data analysis of application, transactional, and other data sources
Own and evangelize the 12-18 month roadmap for your product that aligns with the Company's overall strategic goals
Responsible for owning and leading a product initiative from ideation to launch
Evolve a product idea through a user centered design process
Collaborate with the UX/Design team to create wireframes and mockups to visually demonstrate the imagined user experience
Assist in researching, planning and developing new product features and enhancements for your product
Define clear objectives and scope for any product initiative under your leadership
Work with product owner(s) to breakdown product goals into features and user stories for agile development
Partner with product owners to participate in sprint reviews and acceptance
Coordinate between engineering, marketing, product marketing, operational, and sales teams to ensure success of product delivery
Launch products that have been tested through market research, customer testing, and prototyping
Coordinate with the Financial Planning group to build out P&L models for each of your goal-oriented road map items
Set the overall product strategy and company direction for your product area
Create product strategy and plans: business model, road map, product plans, etc.
Build alignment between leadership, product management, marketing, sales, operations, and customer support (at all levels of the company) on the vision and roadmap of your product
Owner and single point of accountability for the performance and financial indicators for your product(s)
Constantly learning and injecting Product Management industry best practices into AvidXchange's processes
Manage multiple strategic product roadmap and strategies
Experience and Qualifications
A minimum of five (5) to eight (8) years of experience is required within the Product Manager role
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Business.
Wireframing or prototyping tool
Azure, Jira, Rally, or similar planning & development tool
Experience and examples of delivering web and customer service driven products that improve the customer experience
