The Infra Platform team at BILL is a dynamic and innovative group of professionals dedicated to building the next generation Application Platform. This team is at the forefront of technological advancement, leveraging cutting-edge tools and methodologies to create a robust, scalable, and efficient platform that can accommodate BILL's rapid organic and inorganic growth.

Their responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks, from designing and implementing new features to ensuring the platform's stability, security, and performance. The team's expertise spans across various domains, including cloud computing, DevOps, CICD, Kubernetes, GitLab, and Terraform, among others.

The Infra Platform team's work is pivotal in enabling BILL to deliver superior services to its clients and partners, and to maintain its competitive edge in the market. Their relentless pursuit of excellence and innovation is instrumental in shaping the future of BILL and driving its continued success.

We'd love to chat if you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• Relevant certifications in DevOps, CICD, Kubernetes, GitLab, or Terraform would be a plus

• 5+ years of proven experience as a Platform Engineer or in a similar role

• 4+ years of experience and proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby

• Extensive experience with Kubernetes

• Experience in developing complex services from the ground up

• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IAC) tools like Terraform

• Experience in building and automating, configuring, and managing cloud-based systems, preferably AWS

• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and release processes

• Proficiency in CICD preferably with GitLab

• Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies

• Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues

• Strong understanding of network protocols and security

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

The estimated salary range for this role is noted below for our San Jose based role. Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above. The role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, flexible spending & health savings account, paid holidays, paid time off, and other company benefits.

$145,600-$174,700 USD
