Senior Planner

Under the supervision of the Assistant Community Development Director, assists with advanced projects affiliated with a first-tier suburban community. The individual in this role performs a variety of technical and professional work relating to a wide range of planning, zoning, transportation access, equitable housing and economic development related policies, transit-oriented development, middle housing initiatives, and other issues affecting current and future land use within commercial, industrial, and residential development.

The Senior Planner will continually work to disrupt racial disparities in the community through enhanced and inclusive community engagement and equitable and transparent processes. Strong research and writing in long range planning efforts.
