Senior Planner, International

OVERVIEW

Being a part of the Alo team as a Senior Planner comes with great responsibilities. It's more than just planning inventory and sales for Retail Stores and Ecommerce. As our Sr Planner your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Planning responsibilities will be split between supporting directly owned international Alo stores and guiding the international JV & Franchise Partners.

• Build and manage inventory & sales plan tools to monitor, analyze and strategically direct International JV & Franchise partners.

• Manage order submission and consolidation process for Franchise Partners.

• Collaborate with Planning/Buying/Merchandising teams to develop, execute and communicate strategic merchandise financial plans and strategies that support merchandising, marketing and financial objectives for International Owned Retail Stores and Ecommerce. Drive both top-down and bottoms up category plans.

• Provide analytical insights to drive growth within assigned categories and/or various operating channels and international markets.

• Manage the OTB monthly financial review for owned categories / markets to identify risks and opportunities in the given areas of responsibility.

• Recap and analyze actual sales results to plan; and forecast in-season sales and inventories on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.

• Support Merchandise Planning in supply chain product flow by monitoring stock to support key programs and delivery launches.

• Create pre-season sales, gross margin and inventory plans by department that align with company goals. Manage the financial success by meeting sales, gross margin and inventory turn goals.

• Create and manage sales and inventory plans for all core styles to meet department financial goals.

• Maximize opportunities by continuously analyzing the business and reacting to trends.

• Recap and communicate category and size selling performance.

• Lead change and/or enhancements to current processes and procedures.

• Collaborate with cross functional teams.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 4+ years in merchandise planning or inventory management. International experience a plus.

• Advanced excel skills and model-building acumen required

• Strong ability to collect, manage and manipulate data from many sources

• Strong aptitude for numbers, retail math skills and understanding of forecasting methodology

• Able to lead cross functional discussions and gain alignment

• Demonstrates logical analysis and problem-solving skills

• Display strong listening, written and oral communication skills

• Strong trend analysis and problem-solving skills

• Ability to positively influence and lead others by fostering a motivating work outlook with emphasis on team collaboration

• Experience with Anaplan a plus

The base salary range for this position is $100,000-$120,000 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company's total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
