We are seeking an Emergency Management professional with demonstrated experience in planning, preparedness and operational response environments. Must have understanding of emergency management planning, response and recovery mission and programs, including understanding of the National Incident Management System. Candidate will be responsible for drafting, developing, and editing policy and planning documents, supporting stakeholder engagement activities, and providing emergency management expertise to IEM state and local clients in support of the updates to emergency operation plans. Apply technical knowledge and expertise to analyze and develop procedures and draft documents in consideration of response and recovery operations to man-made and natural disasters. Candidate will provide on-site support to clients in the development of emergency operations centers plan updates, attend meetings and take through and detailed notes that support the planning process and program management.

Minimum Requirements

  • Preferred candidates will have the following:

  • Prior experience supporting FEMA, other federal government agencies, or state and local governments in development of emergency managementoperational plans and policies

  • Experience working directly with state, local, or tribal emergency management offices and/or agencies

  • Masters degree in political science, public policy, social sciences, journalism, homeland security, emergency management, or other relevant field

  • Experience with stakeholder engagement strategies with government clients, executive leadership, staff support, and internal and external stakeholders

  • Generate analytical assessments, policies, reports, memoranda, and presentations tailored to provide concise, clear, and easily-consumable information for senior public and private sector clients; maintain a consistent, high quality writing style across all written products

  • Provide quality assurance and quality control of products, including by ensuring the content delivered to clients is accurate and tailored to the client's context

VIEW JOBS 2/3/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-05-04T00:00 Job Summary: Responsible for analyzing raw material inventory levels to support the production schedule and sales demand in a manufacturing environment. This position will report directly to the Sr Manager, Sales and Operations Planning and the ideal candidate must be capable of multi-tasking, prioritizing, problem solving, and have the ability to work independently and cross functionally in a high paced retail environment. While intermediate knowledge of planning, supply chain and inventory systems are essential, it is also expected that applicants be detailed oriented and have the ability to communicate effectively with both verbal and written communication. Advanced Excel skills are required. Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Key Results Area: The supply planner will be responsible for managing the supply planning and inventory levels associated with all SKUs that are used to support the demand plan and business strategy. The supply planner will: * Responsible for developing and deploying key supply chain strategies that include developing and tracking optimal inventory levels to support the demand plan, production minimums, purchasing metrics, and transition plans. * Manage supply planning process through utilization of inventory levels, receipt plans, demand plans, supplier purchase details, product life cycles and analyzed evaluations to output a weekly unit buy plan that will target WOS and highlight risks and opportunities to manager for approval. * Develop and distribute reporting for high visibility or top performing programs to proactively communicate raw material inventory, receipts, production plans and available to ship status. * Conduct meetings with cross-functional partners that require defined supply availability towards production plans, highlighting priorities for production and component allocation, new program rollouts and replenishment flow, and highlighting any issues for further collaborative discussions. * Develop process for continual improvement by means of highlighting supply plan accuracy and strategic development for improvement, along with documentation of out of stocks, missed sales, excess inventory and adherence to key performance indicators (KPIs) while providing recommendations to resolution as needed. * Manage and update product life cycle gates and item classifications through component knowledge and discussions. * Assist team with daily/weekly report generation and deliver ad-hoc reports as required. * Assist team in achieving goals relating to inventory turnover, service level, limiting non-performing inventory and margin. Other primary duties and responsibilities include the following; however, Management reserves the right to assign or reassign other appropriate duties to this job at any time. Internal and External Interfaces: * Work closely with the Demand Planer to review finished good demand plans that drive the supply. * Work closely with Manufacturing to review capacity and production plans. * Work closely with Supply Chain to understand supplier purchasing requirements.
