Position Description:

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p, shifts may vary

Location: 502 Building

The Senior Performance Excellence (PE) Analyst, in collaboration with the organization's executive leadership team, compiles and presents data analyses from a range of sources to aid in decision making for strategic initiatives, quality and process improvement. Leads process improvement teams and coordinates various projects tied to Legacy of Hope's strategic plan.

The PE Analyst will facilitate targeted process improvement activities through the use of improvement tools and methodologies including Process Mapping, Root Cause Analysis, Lean, Six Sigma and Plan, Do, Study, Act (PDSA) to deliver measurable impact on organizational goals. Examples of successful outcomes may include eliminating non-value added steps, reducing errors, reducing unnecessary costs, providing exceptional service to stakeholders, and ultimately increasing the ability to maximize the number of transplantable organs and tissues available to recipients. The PE Analyst will also serve as a consultant expert in the implementation of information systems with internal and external stakeholders.

Position Requirements:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Required: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Information Technology/Informatics, Business or in a health related field; Must have at least 5 years' experience in Healthcare Process or Performance Improvement methodologies and at least 3 years' experience with organ and/or tissue donation and/or transplantation.

Preferred: Master's degree with advanced software and database skills (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, QI Macros)

LICENSE, CERTIFICATION AND/OR REGISTRATION:

Required: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Project Management Certification or must obtain within three years of hire.

Preferred: Black Belt Certification.
