Dell's Digital Quality Engineering and Optimization (QEO) organization team is hiring a Senior Performance Engineer to ensure stability and high performance of releases for our global cross segment applications. Responsibilities will include developing test strategy for performance engineering and testing of the release, performance testing in an agile environment, analyzing requirements and providing technical, performance engineering guidance and recommendations to developers. IT QEO is an essential stakeholder in the development and release of new features and new apps that support business as well as corporate.
Experience and hands on in development with more than 2 platforms / tools - Visual Studio, TFS, Git, Eclipse, Selenium, Cucumber, SpecFlow, DevOps tool chain and other Open Source tools
Experience in deployment automation and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery Pipeline stages/activities
Good understanding and experience on Infrastructure services and Cloud Native platforms (VMWare, Azure, AWS, Google cloud) and Docker/Containers
Experience in service and data virtualization tools and test data management activities across multiple test environments
Good understanding of application performance and its KPI's, WLM and client-side monitoring / scripting
Experience building DevOps and Performance Test automation capabilities from ground up for a cloud based and legacy software solutions
Experience in delivering applications in Blue/Green and Canary paths
Good understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning for testing and SDLC activities
Good exposure to Ubuntu Docker images, experience in Shell scripting / Python & YML and hands on CI/CD pipeline & methodologies
Good exposure to build and deployments, Cloud native knowledge and any PasS experience
Bachelor's degree with 5+ years relevant experience; or Master's degree with 3+ years relevant experience; or equivalent work experience
2+ of performance testing experience
Working experience/business knowledge of the Order Management space
Good understanding of SDLC and testing processes/practices
Strong database skills (fundamental and basic queries)
Experience with performance testing tools (particularly NeoLoad) and test management tools (preferably TFS)
Good knowledge in any one programing/scripting languages mandatory
