A Senior People & Culture (P&C) Business Partner is responsible for proactively consulting with leaders of the PT&E (Products, Technology & Experiences) team to enable innovative people solutions through broad organization advocacy, deep Human Resources expertise and business acumen. Accountable for promoting, communicating and implementing P&C strategies and initiatives. Build and maintain influential relationships by being a strategic partner with Executive leaders with ability to effectively influence a high performance culture, while also being an employee advocate. Provide guidance on employment law and best people practices.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • 8+ years as P&C (HR) professional in multi-discipline environment; progressive complexity across different departments and working directly with Senior Leaders and Executives in a technology or engineering environment. Prefer experience as HR Business Partner.

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent years of experience, Masters preferred

  • PHR or SPHR certification (preferred), or SRRM- CP or SHRM - SCP

  • Proven success working in a fast-paced growing company is preferred; experience working at a technology company is a plus

  • Experience leading multi-faceted projects with team members in and outside of P&C

  • Experience and competence in leading, influencing and coaching others in the absence of direct reporting relationships

  • Experience in Organizational Development, Organization Design, Leadership and Management Development, Employee Engagement, Risk Migration and Performance Management

  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of federal, multi-state and applicable international laws, including case law and regulations

  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in developing and facilitating companywide presentations on various topics, including presenting Executives in client groups

  • A strong sense of accountability, ownership and pride in work performed. Self-managing, results-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects and tasks in a dynamic environment

  • Intermediate skills with MS Office, including Outlook, Excel and Powerpoint. Experience with web conferencing tools. Working knowledge with HR Technologies (i.e., ATS, HCM, employee engagement tools, etc.)

  • Based on business needs, occasional travel to remote or international locations may be required

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Consult with assigned business leaders to understand business strategy/drivers and identify corresponding P&C capabilities required to achieve strategic and operational priorities

  • Partner with senior leadership to implement effective P&C initiatives and practices that will support the strategic growth and objectives of the business. Drive decisions with limited oversight

  • Offer thought leadership regarding MINDBODY organizational and people related strategy and execution

  • Accountable for working with senior leadership to create a comprehensive workforce plans that can continually evolve based on the needs of the business

  • Lead complex Organization Design efforts

  • Analyze and present people related data to business leaders on regular basis

  • Provide timely information and/or education for all levels of the organization on people related matters including performance management, people development and how to lead teams

  • Partner with other P&C department and specialists to develop people oriented programs to positively impact business units and organization

  • Conduct internal investigations, as required, when allegations of legal or policy violations are made, with the objective of influencing resolution and mitigating company risk.

  • Lead appropriate pieces of P&C driven programs that may include: Performance Appraisals, Engagement programs, Diversity & Inclusion and workforce planning

  • Provide expertise in the following areas: workforce strategies, performance management, coaching, compensation and rewards, people and team planning and employee relations

  • Partner with Learning & Development to work on value-added programs in areas of training, development, career mobility and job performance; may be called upon to conduct training

  • Identify and develop innovative HR solutions and process improvement

  • Train and mentor P&C team members on HR best practices, business acumen and complex employee matters

  • Facilitate management, team member meetings and off-sites as needed

  • All other duties as assigned
