As a Senior People Analytics Analyst on Global's People Analytics team, you will work closely with the various Business Stakeholders and Centers of Excellence to develop story-based analytics, tools, and insights in Workday that drive Improved Decision Making about our People, Culture, and Leadership. This key team member will report to the VP of People Services and will need to influence internal and external stakeholders, use data to impact key strategic business decisions, and rapidly build solutions to scale insights throughout the organization.We work in a hybrid module, 3 days on-site in our Waltham office and two days remote.

"Gauges" of Responsibility

  • Implement research findings in Workday technology through analytical apps, real time dashboards, and other technologies. Develops and maintains simple to complex reports and visualizations, including but not limited to advanced, matrix, composite reports, metrics/KPIs, and dashboards utilizing Workday Report Writer, Worksheets, Discovery Boards, and Slides, as well as other tools and available technologies.

  • Builds relationships throughout organization to understand business strategies, workforce strategies, and areas where analytic insight can add value and provide direction to influence decision makers.

  • Performs, prepares, and communicates story-based analysis, insights, and recommendations in and easy to understand actionable way driving people and company performance. Leverages industry research, benchmarks, and external data to enrich and enhance the analysis. Develops and delivers training to support self-service reporting, data literacy, scheduling, and best practices.

  • Gathers and documents requirements, assess complexity and level of effort estimates, prioritizes capacity, and defines development and analysis timelines. Identifies continuous improvement and experience opportunities and recommends solutions and enhancements for adoption.

  • Drive Automation, Data Governance, and Quality of Insights

  • Maintains the people resources reporting inventory to ensure consistent naming, descriptions, tagging, formatting, filters, and share permissions. Organizes and monitors persona-based report packages and inventory to maximize self-service reporting functionality and minimize ad-hoc report requests.

  • Responsible for scheduled future processes monitoring including recurrence renewals, user group and share permissions.

  • Establish quality assurance of delivered insights and design testing techniques to ensure accurate results are delivered across the business at scale following standard guidelines.

  • Develops and maintains tenant wide and report specific complex calculated fields, summary calculations, and analytic indicators. Identifies and remediates duplicative and deprecated fields. Adheres to data governance standards and security while evaluating and optimizing field performance.

  • Creates and maintains a standardized people resources metric set, definitions, calculations, supporting reports, review, and publishing process.

  • Educate end-users on reporting capabilities, and continuously seek reporting enhancements to support evolving company requirements.

  • Maintain awareness of current trends in Workday Data and Analytics.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Workday experience in Report Writer, Prism Analytics, dashboards, calculated fields, business objects, data sources, dashboards, and domain security

  • Prior use of business intelligence and analytics tools like Tableau required; data visualization tools, data manipulation tools, and data storage tools

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Ability to manipulate large and complex data sets to identify and interpret trends and perform analysis.

  • Self-Starter who has demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects efficiently and effectively regardless of complexity level.
