Ciocca Dealerships is looking to add an experienced Senior Payroll Analyst/Payroll Compliance Manager to our growing team! The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years minimum experience in a related position.

Compensation: $70,000-$80,000 per year salary
Setting: In-Office

Payroll Analyst Description:

The payroll analyst is primarily in charge of overseeing the company's payroll processes and transactions, ensuring efficiency and timeliness. Coordinating with other departments and dealerships ensuring procedures are in place for the most efficient payroll processes. This role works in tandem with our payroll manager.

Duties:

  • Execute time an attendance processing and interface with payroll.
  • Follow policies and procedures; develop and/or recommend new or revised procedures for improving the overall efficiency of the payroll department.
  • Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions will be processed accurately and timely.
  • Researches, analyzes, and resolves payroll related deficits or questions by collecting and analyzing information.
  • Communicate with employees and other departments to answer questions and resolve problems.
  • Respond and manage various audit and tax agency queries and requests.
  • Observes the speed, accuracy, and automation of current payroll processes to ensure cost effective payroll processing.

Payroll Compliance Manager Description:

From day to day, the Compliance Manager will ensure everyone adheres to legal standards and in-house policies by performing regular audits of business procedures and processes to ensure payroll compliance. This role requires extensive knowledge of the laws and regulations in each state that we operate in (PA & NJ).

Duties:

  • Checks all wage and salary data for errors or inconsistencies and highlight areas for improvement.
  • Calculating executive bonuses and payroll while maintaining the highest confidentiality
  • Oversight of internal and external compliance requirements, regulations, and confidentiality provisions.
  • Drive key compliance initiatives with regard to new state entry, local, state, and federal requirements, including, leave laws, paid sick time, and auditing the compliance of the companys benefit programs.
  • Serve as trusted partner to the organization to increase awareness, educate, and drive processes that reduce compliance risk.
  • Oversee all union related compliance matters.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of pending legislation and advise executive team on changes and impact to the company.

Includes User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in PeopleSoft, ADP, and other systems as required.</p></li><li><p>Processes the biweekly/monthly payrolls for multiple companies incorporating pay rules from labor unions, regulatory agencies and corporate policies and procedures.</p></li><li><p>Ensures HR system employee data is updated and maintained accurately and timely, including exception items such as retroactive adjustments, garnishments, deductions, etc.</p></li><li><p>Leverages technology to process payroll in both PeopleSoft and ADP, in depth ability to setup, maintain, manage and report from both systems.</p></li><li><p>Ensures adequate controls are in place and effectively performed to ensure the accurate and timely execution of the company's payroll and related processes and controls.</p></li><li><p>Researches and analyzes payroll and HR situations, from simple to complex, and ensures appropriate solutions are implemented accurately and timely with little or no supervision.</p></li><li><p>Identifies and/or participates in the identification of enhancements and process improvements in payroll and human resource products, processes and services through process improvements and control techniques.</p></li><li><p>Identify opportunities to use information technology to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes.
