As a Product Manager within the Financial services team, you will take part in almost every phase of the product lifecycle.

Our team is passionate about early-stage ideation and product development. We regularly pitch new product ideas to executive leadership. Once approved, we work with in-house development teams, partners and vendors to quickly prototype, trial, and launch products. But it doesn't stop there. We also own the delivery and development of multiple in-market products with millions of customers and billions of interactions, products that we are always looking to improve upon.

That's where you come in. As a Product Manager within the Financial Services and Platforms team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Strategy & Ideation:

  • Identifying customer pain points and unmet needs

  • Defining early product visions

  • Demonstrating a portfolio-focused approach to strategy

  • Conducting competitive assessments

  • Developing and refining roadmaps

  • Design:

  • Reviewing design flows with product & design teams

  • Conducting customer research and feedback initiatives

  • Producing mockups and optimized flows based on research

  • Collating and synthesizing broad feedback from cross functional teams

  • Working with design & product teams to forecast effort

  • Reviewing and guiding marketing copy and content

  • Development & Delivery:

  • Defining user stories and acceptance criteria

  • Assigning sprint objectives and story priorities

  • Co-ordinating releases and downstream communications

  • Conducting user acceptance testing and ensuring QA sign-off

  • Analytics:

  • Collecting and analyzing product analytics from self-serve tools

  • Organizing and presenting findings on product impacts

  • Culture Building:

  • Growing a culture focused on timely delivery and celebrating success

  • Breaking down barriers, fostering relationships and collaborating across teams

What we're looking for...

  • 3+ years of experience launching digital products and features, with a heavy focus on native mobile clients

  • 3+ years of experience with B2C products in FinTech

  • Demonstrable Project and Product Management processes and tools (e.g. Jira, Project Plans, Executive Status reporting)

  • 2+ years of experience with designing and measuring KPI's, OKR's and/or product analytics

  • Very strong G-Suite and Office skills (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)

  • Basic understanding of mobile SDK's and web API's

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent

It is an advisory role influencing product line leader, cross-functional product teams and individual contributors to adopt best practices and new processes. In this important role, you will draw on your experience in and expertise of Product LifeCycle (PLC). The role will ensure PLC processes are operationally executed effectively to achieve relevant business goals. Pro-active uncovering of organizational, business process, and strategic bottlenecks to these goals, and support resolution of the identified bottlenecks. The role will also help continuously improve the PLC through collection and maintenance of PLC measurements, refinement of business processes, and work closely with other CE-wide process improvement efforts. Location The preferred location for this hire will be in Waltham MA. (However, candidates in Chicago and Indianapolis IN may be considered). Responsibilities You will work in a global capacity, supporting the success of one or more product lines. * Accountable for implementation and effective adherence to Product LifeCycle Processes (PLC) spanning - Product Planning, Product Execution, and Lifecycle Management (LCM) * Work closely with Product Line leadership to ensure strategic and business goals are achieved consistently. * Ensure new product idea velocity and quality are maintained at an high level * Support progress of ideas in the pipeline * Help ensure quality of idea management process deliverables and review readiness * Transition mature ideas into business releases through quarterly planning * Maintain metrics associated with idea planning processes * Support timely initiation and effective cross-functional execution of business releases into PLC phases * Preparation for phase gate reviews * Coordinate across PM, Segments, and Services effective execution of Pilot/Beta Programs for a Product Line * Support efficient and effective customer engagement across Pilot, Beta and Launch * Ensure ongoing success of launched products through ongoing market management * Track and maintain ongoing performance post-launch * Support coordinated efforts to support sales and channel to drive customer adoption and new market entries * Support product retirement initiatives, as appropriate * Support communications of Product Line health * Development of reports and periodic management updates * Maintain performance management information related to end-to-end Product Development through Metrics and dashboards, and periodic management reports * Ensure effective and efficient PLC operations * Maintain most current version of Product Line Business Briefing Book (Market-related, Historical Finances, Product-related -- which change slowly) * Maintain a calendar for the Product Line across all PLC activities; Proactively orchestrate activities to ensure timely and high-quality execution of the PLC processes * Works closely with the Product Management and PMO to shape day-to-day PLBT operations (topics to be reviewed, prep required, follow through) and information portal * Act as the connective tissue for your cross-functional product team, ensuring stakeholders are aligned around a common business goal and coordinated in achieving them * Communicate insights to product line leadership, who will use them to guide business decision-making QUALIFICATIONS Education: A Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent, relevant experience. MBA preferred.
