The Digital Platform Group is looking for a Partner Marketing Leader to be a part of our team. This work will play a key part in transforming our customer & partner experience by using data & AI to build a more personalized, proactive & self-service support model. Your role will be responsible for defining and expanding the partner channel for Skyline, VMware's Proactive Support service which expanded its customer base by 1300% last year.
Define and manage the overall partner strategy for the Skyline, ultimately driving increased partner/customer adoption and success.
Embed Skyline into key Managed Service, Solution & Cloud Provider go to market offerings.
Lead meetings with partner executives and technologists to position Skyline as a critical component to their success, understand requirements and collect feedback for product management, marketing & engineering.
Develop innovative initiatives & campaigns to accelerate proliferation of Skyline with partners.
Drive joint success by aligning with VMware Partner Managers on their strategic partner plans (Manager Service Provider, Solution Provider and Cloud Provider).
Integrate with VMware's Partner Organization and VMware Partner agreements (Technology Alliance Program, Solution Provider Program, Master Services Partners, Cloud Provider Program) to drive key business progress with our partners.
Define and execute our demand generation, launch and events strategy while collaborating with corporate and partner marketing teams.
Collaborate with the VMware Enablement Organization to develop partner enablement materials and training
Create and deliver highly effective, creative and interactive content to be used for thought leadership, partner events and training
Proven success and experience introducing SaaS products into partner channels and agreements.
Previous working experience with key partners at the C-level and VP level.
Familiarity with SaaS support products and best practices for partner channels
Experience with product GTM including pricing, packaging, positioning and aligning with product management and engineering
7+ year work experience in partner management, alliances, product marketing and communications or equivalent experience in the enterprise software technology industry
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Experience in developing succinct and compelling Messaging and positioning is needed.
Willing to travel up to 30% (depending on time of year) to evangelize VMware support technologies and solutions with VMware field, partners and customers.
BA/BS in Business or equivalent and ideally MBA
