The Senior Oracle Applications Technical Analyst role will assist with developing, maintaining and facilitating the framework and standards for the Oracle EBS Application and Tech Stack with a focus on Disaster Recovery and Tech Stack / Application upgrades. They will help to establish a Center of Excellence for these and other Oracle and Non-Oracle applications and tools. They will assist with the revision of Development Standards. They will use their technical experience to help with evaluation, acquisition, adoption and usage of tools that promote application and resource efficiencies within Global Supply Chain IT. They will partner with business and IT personnel in support of these efforts. They will utilize their technical knowledge and skills wherever possible in support of these and other projects.
Strategy & Planning
Assist the Manager of Tools and Framework in establishing and maintaining standards and framework for Disaster Recovery and Application Patching.
Analyze, plan and facilitate projects that exercise these frameworks in order to keep the Oracle EBS Application, Tech Stack and related technologies current and highly available.
Assist in the development of a five year plan for Oracle EBS instance and capacity planning.
Collaborate with fellow analysts and developers to assess, establish and continuously improve existing development standards.
Acquisition & Deployment
Identify, evaluate, support and proliferate tools to enhance efficiencies within the Oracle EBS "Ecosystem", it's integrations and those resources that support them.
Acquire and develop an understanding of existing tools and recommend best practice changes to how those are deployed for use by our IT teams.
Gather requirements and recommend industry best practices.
Proliferate knowledge, standards and training for our tools to IT teams to allow them to develop or make use of these tools for their own purposes.
Provide support of the tools and standards managed by the team.
Create process flows along with detailed functional and technical design documentation.
Assist with targeting, identifying and scheduling Oracle Application and Tech Stack upgrade versions to keep application release levels current.
Assist with Oracle EBS Instance and Capacity Planning activities across all Global environments.
Proactively create and work through service requests with vendor support as needed.
Coordinate work efforts with the DBA and middleware teams throughout application change control processes.
Document and recommend best practices relating to Oracle custom responsibilities, security profiles, menus, and user account provisioning.
Assist with large scale projects may be required to contribute to efficiency, effectiveness and success of the work.
Conduct research into new technologies, tools, components, and frameworks.
Make presentations to management, clients, and peer groups as requested.
Train and share knowledge with development teams.

Formal Education & Certification
Required Knowledge & Experience
5 years IT experience.
5 years Oracle EBS application development and tech stack (Apps Server, Forms Server and Database) experience.
Experience with Oracle Applications and Tech Stack Patching.
Proven Oracle EBS development expertise and experience with Oracle Databases, including skills in Oracle SQL and Oracle PL/SQL.
Knowledge and familiarity with the following: Linux/Unix Shell Scripting, Oracle Workflow Builder, Oracle Approvals Management (AME), Oracle Forms (or other equivalent), Oracle Reports/Oracle BI Publisher (or other equivalent), Oracle Alerts, Oracle Application Framework, Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF), Oracle Application Express (APEX), Java.
Must be well versed with creating and understanding data models and data flow diagrams.
Knowledge and experience with seeded and custom APIs for applicable Oracle EBS modules.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
Reporting and Business Intelligence experience with Oracle Discoverer and Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition.
Experience with event-driven enterprise architecture with Oracle SOA Suite and Oracle Application Integration Architecture (AIA).
Experience with ETL/ELT development with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) or other packages.
Expertise with database integrated development environments such as Quest TOAD, Oracle SQL Developer and PL/SQL Developer.
Experience in Java development.
Experience in Enterprise Scheduling with BMC Control-M.
Experience in working with version control and software configuration management tools including Subversion, CVS, HP Project and Portfolio Management (PPM).
Strong written and oral communications skills.
