Job Summary:

Under general supervision, process the most complex loan administration transactions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responds to various levels of correspondence received from borrower's written, email, fax, and phone correspondence

  • Serves as a point of contact for lenders, servicers and vendors

  • May communicate live with borrowers via web chat

  • Reviews complicated borrower applications/forms for accuracy, completeness and regulatory compliance

  • Maintains system documentation of correspondence (i.e., logs transaction activities)

  • Maintains unit filing system and prepares documents for imaging

  • Updates borrower status and demographic information in the system

  • Determines transaction types and approval status of completed paperwork and documentation

  • Provides training to less experience processors

  • Complies with all ECMC Group Policies

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

  • High School or GED
  • 3+ years customer service experience in an office/business environment

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Intermediate math skills

  • Intermediate computer skills including the ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Displays and promotes high standards of ethical conduct and behaviors consistent with organizational and government standards

  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and handle multiple tasks/projects concurrently

  • Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to analyze, identify, and solve problems using sound judgment. Knows who to involve and takes appropriate action

  • Ability to effectively organize, plan, control and prioritize work

  • Ability to consistently carry out job responsibilities to meet deadline

  • Direct Reports (titles reporting to this position) N/A

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Office: Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office environment that requires normal safety precautions (such as in typical office or administrative work).

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Sedentary work: Job involves sitting most of the time; walking, lifting, bending, standing etc. may be minimally required.

TRAVEL

Rarely if at all less than 10% of the time.
