The points below highlight the Senior Operations Manager duties:

  • Establishes operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current

  • Ensures the physical condition of warehouse and equipment are properly maintained

  • Ensures work orders for repairs and requisitions for replacement of equipment are submitted to the appropriate persons

  • Confers with others to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with activities of other functional areas such as customer service and sales

VIEW JOBS 11/13/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-02-11T00:00 The Senior Operations Manager will work with the Head of Creative & Marketing to streamline and support the processes of Creative & Marketing in collaboration with Architecture and Design Development to add value through design across the portfolio and provide a smooth and cohesive design aesthetic at each asset. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED Education and Experience * Bachelor's degree in a related field of study from an accredited university; and * More than ten years of related experience; or * Any combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job JOB FUNCTIONS: * Manage Operations teams consisting of Associate Manager of Operations, Budget Analyst, and Executive Assistant to Department Head * Responsible for departmental workflow and timeliness; monitors project management software for bottlenecks and to ensure projects are properly approved * Onboard new assets and ensure smooth transition from Acquisitions to Creative & Marketing team * Manages production and approval of Asset Vision Documents during Acquisitions phase * Responsible for third party work and managing resources to deliver according to The Jamestown Style * Responsible for monitoring departmental utilization to ensure adequate staffing levels to meet business plan goals and add value to assets portfolio-wide * Research and promote forward-thinking and continuing creative education across department * Work with Department Head to facilitate creative department hiring process, training, and integration. Develop fellowship program for department * Manage report generation from internal software systems and analyze process improvements with Associate Managers * Facilitate departmental understanding of property teams to include Asset Management, Property Management, Creative & Marketing, and JT corporate teams * Analyze and improve utilization of human resources within the department * Create reports to illustrate the effectiveness of marketing programs such as social media, advertising, and so forth * Responsibilities may require an adjusted work schedule, travel, overtime, and evening/weekend hours in order to meet deadlines or attend special events KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Basic Knowledge of and Skills in: * Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Publisher * Social Media Outlets (Including but not limited to; Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat) * Office IT and administration practices and procedures * Organizational and interpersonal skills * The ability to meet deadlines, accomplish work in order of priority * Maintain professional composure & effectiveness under pressure and changing conditions * Self-motivation, leadership, teamwork and collaboration * Conflict Management Resolution * Detail oriented, logical, and methodical approach to problem solving * Exceptional written and verbal communication Jamestown Properties Atlanta GA
