What You'll Do

  • Training and coaching: Organize schedules, approve timecards, update training manuals and standard operating procedures. Make sure new associates are set up for success and work safely and productively. Provide coaching and build an amazing work culture.

  • Assist with day-to-day tasks. Receive product from partners, place product in appropriate locations, prepare orders, help clean and organize work areas. You'll do whatever it takes to delight our customers with a high-quality experience.

  • Delight Customers. Make sure customer's orders get delivered smoothly by maintaining menus and systems, communicating with customers when issues arise, and making sure Dasher pickups go smoothly.

  • Facility Management. Open and close the facility, monitor supplier deliveries, manage regular cleaning and maintenance schedules.

  • Help improve operations. Contribute ideas to improve our quality and customer experience.

For more information: Job Summary: Reporting to the Director of Reinsurance Application Outsourcing, the Senior Operations Support Specialist provides production support for the ReinsurancePro application to Sapiens's application outsource (AO) clients. The Senior Operations Support Specialist will have responsibility for group of AO clients. This responsibility includes monitoring of their processing cycles, applying version upgrades and fix packs, user provisioning within the application, performance tuning, and debugging errors. This position reports to the Director of the Reinsurance Application Outsource Department. Job Descriptions: * Under general supervision, provide computer operations technical support for clients by scheduling jobs, JCL creation and maintenance, production cycle monitoring, and operational testing. * Monitor and troubleshoot operations and data transmissions. * Create and maintain appropriate operational procedures and documentation. * Analyze and performance-tune the operations environment on an ongoing basis. * Following release documentation and instructions, apply application upgrades and fix packs; re-apply client customizations to JCL and/or programs. * Learn business functionality of Sapiens products as a byproduct of operational support. * Create new ReinsurancePro environments for clients; work closely with the Professional Services department to perform data loads, write and execute conversion programs, write and execute interfaces. * Participate in disaster recovery tasks * Work closely with other members of the Application Outsource, Client Services and Product Engineering departments. Job Requirements: * Minimum of 5 years experience in z/OS * Knowledge of IBM mainframe JCL, COBOL, and Sort * DB2 knowledge including utilities * Ability to write moderately complex SQL statements * 5+ years software support experience. * Availability for on off-hours rotation * FTP knowledge a plus * SAS / WPS knowledge a plus * Java knowledge with J2EE Web Server exposure a plus * Familiar with the practice of continuous process improvement. * Insurance application knowledge a plus * Ability to match between customer functional requirements and application system options/functionalities in an efficient way. * Excellent analytical skills * Experience working with the offshore team a plus * Bachelor's degree in computer-related field (preferred) or related industry experience. * Up to %25 travel is required.
