What You'll Do

  • Training and coaching: Organize schedules, approve timecards, update training manuals and standard operating procedures. Make sure new associates are set up for success and work safely and productively. Provide coaching and build an amazing work culture.

  • Assist with day-to-day tasks. Receive product from partners, place product in appropriate locations, prepare orders, help clean and organize work areas. You'll do whatever it takes to delight our customers with a high-quality experience.

  • Delight Customers. Make sure customer's orders get delivered smoothly by maintaining menus and systems, communicating with customers when issues arise, and making sure Dasher pickups go smoothly.

  • Facility Management. Open and close the facility, monitor supplier deliveries, manage regular cleaning and maintenance schedules.

  • Help improve operations. Contribute ideas to improve our quality and customer experience.

  • You're organized and proficient in Google Docs and Google Sheets.

  • Flexibility in schedule as you may be required to work any day of the week, across daily operating hours

VIEW JOBS 5/22/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-08-20T00:00 SmithBucklin, a 100 percent employee-owned association management company, is looking for a Membership and Operations Senior Associate to join our Technology Industry Practice in Chicago. Our Technology Unit partners with full-service client organizations or standalone technology user groups to define success and growth targets for their organizations. On that solid foundation, we build strong governance practices, develop strategic plans and operational excellence targets, improve on financial practices and ultimately grow the client organizations we serve. This role will play an integral role in providing excellent customer service to the nonprofit volunteers and members of Fuel User Group. This role requires strong computer and prioritization skills and is heavily administrative-based. A successful candidate will be client-service oriented and have a history of successful project management experience. What You Will Do: * Maintain first-rate customer service as the front-line contact to the client and the association members; enhance support and service by responding to customer needs in a timely and efficient manner * Build and sustain strong member relations through attentive detail in handling member requests and volunteer interaction * Work independently with customer volunteers, Palo Alto Networks teams, Fuel vendors and internal teams to plan up 5-6 chapter events per month * This includes venue sourcing, agenda building, project managing, reporting, tracking and financial oversight of each meeting * Provide administrative and project support to the client and staff team, including database maintenance and membership processing * Serve as membership staff person: managing the organization's data and generating reports as needed * Coordinate and maintain financial projects and AP/AR * Write and produce content for association member e-newsletters and other electronic communications * Maintain and update areas of the association website with current information, benefits, member programs, etc. * Assist with the preparation of conferences, board meetings and annual events * Collaborate with various SmithBucklin service units including marketing, accounting, IT and events to provide the best client service possible * Serve as staff liaison to committees This Role Might Be for You If… * You have demonstrated customer service experience and skills * You possess strong written and verbal communication skills * You are proficient in time management and organization * You have strong data management and Excel skills * You have the ability to work independently and as part of a team Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree from a four year accredited college/university * 1-3 years relevant, professional experience Preferred Qualifications: * Familiar with social media * Previous experience managing website content * Preferred database management experience (specifically Socious) * Basic knowledge of html coding and Microsoft Office Suite * Experience using HubSpot Where Do You Fit?
