Responsible for servicing high net worth and customized customers by handling customer issues, processing exception items, researching out of balances, and ensuring daily transactions are processed accurately and efficiently. Performs a variety of operational functions such as opening accounts, reviewing reports, preparing correspondence and participating in special projects designated to the department. Helps to ensure internal controls, policies, and mechanisms comply with standard industry practices, regulatory guidelines, and senior management's recommendations and/or directions. Performs all duties in accordance with the company's policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Executes routine and complex transactions/processes utilizing standard procedures including but not limited to: Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions, Exception Item Processing (EIM), Outgoing & Incoming Returns, Non-Post, Fraudguard, Research and Adjustment, Stop Payment, , Debit Card, Reg E and Wire Transfers (input and verification). May have specific responsibility for one or multiple specialized products or functional areas. As a Senior level, completes more complex, or escalated processing, issues, and exceptions.
Processes and/or reconciles routine and complex transactions of varying risk and financial value in accordance with established policies and procedures. Identifies and addresses exceptions and may resolve escalated items. Partners internally with service partners to route calls, documents or other action items to complete transactions. May interact with external customers to complete transactions.
Ensures the appropriate materials, documentation and capacity are available to complete transactions. Reviews daily reconciliation of deposit products within the department's portfolio for accuracy and timeliness.
Provides responses and documentation to inquiries and ad hoc requests for one or multiple specialized products. Provides feedback on workflow and work received. May participate in and serve as a subject matter resource for process improvement projects. May assist in training and onboarding of new hires.
Reviews transactions and related documents and verifies work processes to ensure completeness, accuracy and conformance to established service levels and applicable policies and procedures. May review reports to identify exceptions, monitor quality and ensure compliance. May participate in risk mitigation activities.
Partners with the lending team to process loan payments and advances on loans in an efficient and timely manner.
Handles customer service issues and is accountable for back office procedures related to shared branch deposits, product demonstration and maintenance, reviewing multiple databases to ensure consistency of customer information.
Reviews and analyzes documentation for new customer accounts to identify and mitigate Know Your Customer (KYC) and Customer Identification Program (CIP) risks.
Prepares Account Opening Paperwork and performs account maintenance; adding/removing signers, title changes, etc.
Continually develops and maintains a working knowledge of internal policies and procedures to effectively assist all Banc Operations clients.
Follows established bank policies and procedures, meets and adheres to audit standards. Supports the company's goals and values accordingly.
Provides mentorship and training to Business Development Managers through adherence to good work practices, following Bank policy and procedure, and demonstrated competence of work duties.
Participates in all required Compliance training, either online or in house.

Advanced Analytical and data management skills (excel usage, Bloomberg, Macro writing and Database Queries)
Intermediate knowledge of adherence to ECCHO Rules and NACHA Rules
Intermediate knowledge of the following applications and skills: Fiserv Premier product suite, WireXchange, Six Sigma, LEAN Process
Advanced skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation; Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Exceptional oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions, interpret documents, understand procedures, write reports and correspondence, and speak clearly to customers and employees
Ability to understand, remember, and communicate routine, factual information
Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines
Ability to work with general supervision and multi-task while performing duties
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR LICENSES:
Bachelor's Degree required and four (4) to six (6) years' of related work experience and/or training. Work related experience should consist of a deposit and loan processing background. Educational experience, through in-house training sessions, formal school or financial industry related curriculum, should be business or financial industry related.
Prior banking experience required.
