As a Senior Operational Training Engineer, you will develop ground system training artifacts for operations. Position involves support to system enterprise validation events, including development and documentation of complex operational scenarios/threads. Engineer will require some experience in ground satellite development and/or operations and must be able to provide high-level operational troubleshooting of anomalies during validation events. Engineer will develop training artifacts, working under a lead, and will provide hand-on instruction to operations. Position requires occasional, short-duration CONUS travel.

Clearance Requirement: Must be a US Citizens with a current TS/SCI

Required Experience, Knowledge and/or

  • Must have active an TS/SCI clearance

  • 6+ years demonstrated engineering experience with proven track record

  • Understanding of the SE lifecycle and change management process

  • Ground satellite development or operations experience in command and telemetry, flight dynamics, and/or mission planning

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work with and communicate with all levels of management and individual contributors on the program team

Desired Experience, Knowledge and/or

  • Experience with training, either development of material or performing training

  • Experience with multiple ground domains (command and telemetry, flight dynamics, mission planning)

  • Experience with Raytheon EclipseTM product

  • Ground operations experience, preferably with mission planning or command and telemetry

Education Requirements:

B.S./B.A. in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or Math.

Graebel Companies is looking for a Senior Operational Reporter who can manage the reporting and delivery of all operational and financial reports to the client in conjunction with overseeing the transfer of relocation initiations from the client to Graebel. * Maintains and performs the client file initiation process. This function is responsible for initiating 85% of our largest client's initiations into the graebel system and has high visibility internally within Graebel and externally to our client. The task requires high level of excel expertise in addition to a high level of understanding the required operational file setup fields and down stream impact if setup is done incorrectly. * Creates weekly/monthly/quarterly dashboards that consists of financial and operational information. These dashboards often require additional analysis to provide context and insight to our client. This analysis/context is presented to the client in a white paper format that requires excellent written communication skills. * Client Business Reviews (Bi-yearly) - Overall PowerPoint presentation of the operational and financial aspects of the client. The PPT is presented to the client and Graebel leadership during the CBR meeting, requiring the person to comfortable speaking in a public setting. * Ad hoc reporting as requested by management and the client. Has direct communication with the client. * Manage client specific quality control reporting to ensure accuracy of all reporting. Part of this function is to access the client system to gather information to update critical fields (employee ID's, GL String) in the Graebel system that drive invoicing and payroll reporting. Required Skills Expert level skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Occasional travel may be required. Required Experience Requires technical knowledge, training and understanding of a job's requirements. Typically possesses 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
