The Role:

Cognizant is looking for an experienced and innovative Senior Full Stack Engineer (Node js/Angular/Java) to serve our diverse base of global clients. As a member of our team, you will build cutting edge, cloud-based software that powers modern business. Location: Richmond, Virginia

Responsibilities:

• Extensive hands on in backend end webservices/RESTAPI development using Node Js and Java

• Experience in UI development using Angular, Javascript and unit testing framework Jasmine and Karma

• Cloud experience - AWS (ECS, LAMBDA, FARGATE) is must and experience in working with AWS EC2, S3, R53, RDS, IAM

• Utilize programming languages like Node.js, Java, Angular. Open-Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of AWS tools and services

• Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies

• Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, mentoring other members of the engineering community

• Collaborate with digital product managers, and deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences to help millions of People achieve financial empowerment.

• Leverage jquery to handling inputs and outputs from database

• Effective Client communication

• Should be able to work on both Backend and Frontend technologies like NodeJS and AngularJS

Required Skill:

• Overall software development experience is 7+
• 6+ years of Handson experience in Node.js, REST API, 12-factor microservice principles.
• 3+ years experience in writing Node JS unit tests using Jest and Mocha
• 2+ years of experience on Node.JS V10 version.
• 3+ year of hands on experience in Jquery, Jscript
• 2+ years of work experience in handling database using NodeJs.
• 3+ years Hands on experience on AWS ECS, EC2, Lambda, S3 and SQS
• Experience in Agile practices.
