Position Overview:

As a Senior Network Security Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining our complex network infrastructure. Your expertise in routing, switching, and firewall technologies will ensure the stability, security, and scalability of our network operations. This role requires a strategic thinker who can proactively identify network issues and implement solutions that support our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and troubleshoot network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices using Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet technologies.

• Develop and implement strategies for network security, disaster recovery, and network efficiency improvements.

• Lead network projects, including the installation of new network hardware and software, and network upgrades.

• Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and apply necessary adjustments to ensure optimal network efficiency.

• Collaborate with IT security teams to implement and maintain firewall configurations, VPNs, and other security measures to protect company data.

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior network engineers and support staff.

• Document network configurations, changes, and procedures to maintain a comprehensive network inventory.

• Stay abreast of new networking technologies and best practices, recommending upgrades and enhancements as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Professional certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIS, JNCIP, NSE4 or equivalent.

• Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in network engineering with a strong focus on routing and switching, specifically using Cisco and Juniper technologies.

• Extensive experience with Fortinet firewall configurations and network security best practices.

• Proven ability to design and implement complex network solutions in large-scale environments.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders across various departments.
