Job Title: Senior Network Engineer

Pay Rate: $75 per hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday (9:00 am to 5:00 pm)

Job Description:

The Senior Network Engineer will participate in implementations, testing, and

operations, taking a lead role and managing tasks for other team members as

requested by WAN Group management.

Job Responsibilities:

? Collaborate with WAN Group management and the chief network engineer to

understand objectives and formulate requirements.

? Solicit input from team members, document, and present periodic design

updates.

? Design solutions considering routing, switching, security, operational efficiency,

and future needs.

? Develop requirements for product assessments and design test beds with team

assistance.

? Research new technologies with the group.

? Periodically audit the network for maintenance and upgrades, requesting task

assignments from management as necessary.

? Assist in monitoring, implementing, installing, and troubleshooting the network.

Qualifications:

? Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical

Engineering, or equivalent.

? Minimum of five (5) years of experience in routing and switching (Ethernet, Frame

Relay, TCP/IP, etc.) in operations, implementation, and engineering, with a Cisco

CCNP certification (preferably having passed the written portion of the CCIE).

? At least three (3) years of experience in firewall/VPN/security.

? Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
