Responsible for Enterprise Network Architecture, including routing topology, sub-netting, VLANs, VPN / IPsec tunnels, firewalls, security / policy enforcement, application quality and response time optimization for protocols such as VoIP and/or VTC / H.323 / H.264 / H.265. This position includes operations and maintenance of a state-of-the-art cyber security stack based on the DISA Joint Regional Security Stack (JRSS) architecture and a large campus LAN with multiple datacenter locations and layer 2 LAN extensions (e-VPN) for DR/COOP and Metro stretch clustering. Network devices include carrier grade equipment from Cisco, Juniper, Brocade, A10, F5 and others covering a wide geographic area with multiple remote sites.JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Essential Job Functions: * Oversees administration of Wide Area Network/Local Area Network Systems Infrastructure including BGP/MPLS topologies, IP subnets, VLANs, HCLOS / LOS / Wireless Systems and works directly with underlying circuit actions teams. * Leads the engineering design, testing and deployment of new technology insertion as well as developing and executing plans for lifecycle replacement, firmware updates, application of new STIGs and security policies. * As an integral part of business and proposal development teams, provides SME level expertise in the analysis of requirements, development of compelling solutions and production of technical approach writing. * Collaborates with personnel throughout multiple locations in order to ensure optimized, stable and secure network transport supporting the Active Directory Domain, Exchange Messaging environment, and collaborative systems like CUCM / VTC that are used in a mission critical environment. * Configures and troubleshoots CUCM trunks, SIP gateways, dial plans, PVDM transcoding, and CUCM publisher and subscriber systems. * Works closely with Systems, Virtualization and Cyber Security Engineers as the network transport is a common element supporting interaction across all areas. * Works with supervisors and military leadership to ensure networks perform effectively for the supported organization(s)* Assist when necessary (either remotely or in person) in the event of serious network outages and service disruptions * Develops and maintains documentation for all networksQUALIFICATIONS:Security Clearance: ACTIVE US SECRET* Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or addition of 10 years to overall experience requirement or experience as lead network engineer in a Theater Network Operations and Security Center, Regional Cyber Center, Enterprise NOC, or an equivalent. * Experience with networking equipment from multiple vendors. * Thorough understanding of OSI model and ability to troubleshoot various applications at all levels as networking extends into the virtual datacenter environment. Must be experienced with IP subnetting including VLSM methods.* BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, MPLS, VRF understanding at a CCNP to CCIE level.* DM-VPN's, IPSec, ISAKMP/Oakley and/or X.509, e-VPN (BGP extension)* Cisco ONS / MSPP / MSTP or experience with SONET / ATM is desired. * Load Balancers / ADC's (A10 / F5) experience is desired.* SSLi Break/Inspect (Gigamon / A10 / F5) is desired.* VMware / Nutanix networking experience is desired in addition to experience with SAN transport and connectivity requirements. * Solarwinds / HP OpenView / Spectrum experience is desired with preference in that order and ability to operate and maintain these management servers. * Experience with AAA systems (Cisco Secure ACS / ISE), TACACS and application of X.509 device certificates for authentication and network access control (NAC) systems such as 802.1X. * Understanding of PIM-SM / Multicast routing, rally points, IGMP and methods for IP Video distribution over multicast networks is desired.Licenses and CertificationsCISCO CCNP Collaboration or CCNP SecurityAdditional Preferred:CISCO CCIE SecurityCOMPTIA SEC+/Security+VMware VCP/Nutanix AHV certificationPhysical Demands/Working Environment:Lift 30 lbs* IAP is an EOE, including disability/vets * All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identify, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.Required SkillsThis position is located in Cape Canaveral, FL.
