Responsible for the operations and maintenance, patching and upgrades of all Linux based systems on the current and future Operations, Disaster Recovery and Non-Production Environments. The System Administrator is responsible for ensuring compliance with all DISA STIG requirements and maintaining the security posture of all systems under management. The System Administrator is responsible for ensuring the availability and integrity of the platforms and implementing DevOps practices for seamless operations.
Demonstrated proficiency with all aspects of installing and maintaining Linux/Unix servers.
Assist with the development of system architectures and project plans.
Ability to design, build, configure, secure, and deploy Linux/Unix based operating systems
Analyze system performance and manage system resources to provide optimal configuration of available resources
Ability to analyze system vulnerabilities and apply patches and corrective actions to eliminate risk
Strong understanding of secured environments, NIST and DISA STIG requirements, and the ability to implement solutions to provide a hardened platform compliant with aforementioned standards
Competent to work at a technical level on all phases of application administration activities.

Must be a consummate professional in both demeanor and attire.
Excellent attention to detail.
Develops and maintain documentation such as SOPs on existing and new applications.
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
Must have an active Top Secret security clearance, with eligibility for SCI clearance
Must have 5-8 years of directly related experience in network analysis and administration
Must have a DoD 8570 IAT Levell II certification (Security+ CE) or higher
Must have a Computing Environment certification in compliance with Army Training & Certification Tracking System (ATCTS) requirements at time of hire.
Must have working knowledge and hands-on experience with the following:
RSA SecurID or
Cisco and Juniper devices
Cisco ACS or Cisco ISE
Riverbed Performance tools
InfoVista Performance tools
BMC tools (such as BBNA, BBSA, ADDM)
Red Hat Linux, Solaris, and Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2012 operating systems
IBM Tivoli Netcool Monitoring tool (to include strong knowledge of SNMP)
Single Sign On (SSO) Portal tool integration and administration
Business Objects/Crystal Reports
