Design, architect and implement network and telephony solutions. Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all salient technology in the environment. Serve as a technical leader within the group.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan, lead, coordinate, configure, install and manage all items related to communications infrastructure; includes network security, data, voice (VOIP), network access control, video, and SLA performance.
Practice network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information.
Manage monitoring tools and architecture to ensure reporting to various areas and management on network performance. Identify and resolve of hardware and software issues; including critical decisions, thorough analysis, problem resolution, and infrastructure planning.
Proactively research and locate tools and processes to identify and correct troublesome trends as they develop.
Collaboratively manage and oversee the security, routers, switches, hubs, firewalls and general Network Administration services.
Ensure a stable performance environment for all systems.
Ensure all equipment complies with industry standards.
Manage and perform periodic attestation, control, and performance procedures as deemed necessary.
Work with the leads of other units on their disaster recovery plans to ensure functionality and business continuity.
Maintain and manage vendor relationships.
Manage and/or provide guidance to junior members of the team.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related field.

Cisco Certifications (CCNA. CCNP, CCIE)
Juniper Certifications (JCNIP-ENT, JCIE-ENT)
