Senior .Net, Sql/Ssis Developer

Job Description

Infosys is seeking Senior .Net, SQL/SSIS Developer. As a .Net, SQL/SSIS developer, you will be a key player in the ADM team to carry out application support and maintenance and minor enhancements work. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty; be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.

Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located at or within commuting distance of Hartford, CT, Raleigh, NC or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US.

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.

• At least 4 years of Development experience on C#, ASP, .Net, Web Services, SSIS, SSRS and SQL Servers.

• Extensive knowledge and experience in Healthcare domain including, Claims, Membership, Billing, Utilization Management and Provider domain.

• Hands on experience in designing, implementing and supporting highly scalable applications and web services using Microsoft technologies.

• Interact with cross-functional teams and develop software applications as per specifications.

• Hands-On ability to analyze, develop and debug .net and SQL based applications.

• Working knowledge of .NET Frameworks 3.0/3.5/4.0

• Good knowledge of SQL/SSIS.

• Knowledge/experience on DevOps implementation (CI/CD)

• Knowledge/experience on azure native development and/or migration of .net applications to azure.

• Communicate with project managers, clients and other developers to design cohesive project strategies and ensure effective collaboration throughout all phases of development, testing and deployment.

• Maintain a flexible and proactive work environment to facilitate a quick response to changing project requirements and customer objectives and innovate ways to meet mission goals successfully.

• Interact directly with clients, managers, and end users as necessary to analyze project objectives and capability requirements, including specifications for user interfaces, customized applications.

• Work as a member of development team with hand-on programming and design skills.

• Mentor 5 to 8 development team members on a need basis and technically drive them towards results.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects with experience in Design and architecture review.

• WebAPI for REST services. Follows microservices architecture pattern

• Technical competency in SQL/SSIS.

• Experience on application design, file structures, coding practices, quality assurance and documentation.

• Moderate experience in MS SQL Database Administration.

• Experience in Healthcare is a plus.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
