The Senior Naval Strategy SME will provide provide advanced strategic planning and general consulting expertise in a wide range of areas including human capital, leadership, and strategy development and implementation within the Serco WBB Consulting (SWC). You will You will apply your background in Naval shipbuilding programs, submarines, and NAVSEA operations, to support customer needs and assist in capturing and executing large consulting projects.

In this role you will:

• Provide expertise and knowledge on Naval Sea Systems Command operations, strategy and priorities

• Provide knowledge and expertise on Naval shipbuilding programs to support new initiatives across Serco divisions

• Provide knowledge and expertise in strategic planning within the Department of the Navy

• Support business development efforts with industry or government customers

• Provide executive level guidance and recommendations to assist Corporate executives in planning markets or pursuits

You may also be asked to:

• Participate in customer Kick Off Briefs, IPRs, Product delivery presentations

• Lead or support presentations to senior government officials

• Lead tasks or projects

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• DoD Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or other technical field

• 20 or more years of relevant experience in US government service or supporting government programs

• Experience in DoD acquisition with an emphasis on NAVSEA programs

• Experience developing and assessing strategic plans

• Outstanding skills in communicating complex technical issues at senior levels, both verbally and in written form

• Self-motivated, creative and able to flourish in a dynamic work environment

• Demonstrated high degree of attention to detail

• Ability to travel up to 10%

In compliance with state and local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary range for this position is $129622 - $216035.91; however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
