GENERAL FUNCTION: Identify and define systems and business line needs and requirements.

Coordinates development and support for new and existing applications and products. Primary

liaison between line of business, software vendor and information technology. Partners with

the business unit to develop a solid knowledge base of the business line, including the business

plan, products, processes and revenue streams. Coordinates business requirements definition,

development, system configuration, testing, defect identification and resolution, implementation and support for new and existing systems. Identifies,researches and analyzes production problems, develops solutions and coordinates resolutions.

Possesses a broad understanding of business systems and industry requirements. Oversees

enhancements and projects in order to maintain productivity and efficiency.

Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating

concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always

doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive

a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results

by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serves as a liaison between IT, software vendors and the business line to analyze business and user

needs, document requirements and resolve moderately complex system problems.

  • Possesses a broad understanding of business systems and industry requirements.

  • Oversees enhancements in order to maintain productivity and efficiency. Guides and trains less

experienced analysts through project work.

  • Manages multiple business line project lists/project teams, from managing projects/process, system configuration, testing, implementation while meeting all deadlines assigned to the project.

  • Possesses a solid knowledge base of multiple business lines, including the business plans,

products, processes and revenue streams.

  • Plays a key role in the planning, testing and implementation of new products, system

enhancements and conversions. Ensures system enhancements follow the appropriate change management guidelines, meet or exceed user requirements and are completed in a timely fashion.

May act as project leader role for projects.

  • Leads the research and resolution of system issues. Partners with lines of business and the

technical areas in the research and resolution of system and process problems.

  • Works with users in defining user, system and project requirements for new systems, new

products and system enhancements.

  • Identifies system enhancements, documents business needs and determines development impact

to current system processing. Works with programmers and users to ensure accuracy of process

improvement/automation.

  • Completes system configurations.

  • Identifies, researches and analyzes production problems, develops solutions and resolves

problems.

  • Reviews operational procedures and methods and recommends changes for improvement, with

an emphasis on automation and efficiency.

  • Provides input into the creation of detailed project plans, work assignments, procedures, target

dates and other aspects of assigned projects.

  • Provides guidance and context in prioritizing and determining complexity of problems and

requests.

  • Influences leaders and peers across organizational lines to take action on strategic initiatives or

process changes.

  • Establishes the climate that encourages an open two-way channel of communication whereby

team members exchange ideas / suggestions and share information.

  • Reports regularly on progress against established project plans.

  • Maintains manuals, standard business and status reports, technical training material and

reference material.

  • Performs aspects of Project Management including but not limited to Approval gathering,

Readiness Assessments, and other artifacts and controls.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Minimum four (4) years work experience in banking, financial services or related experience.

  • Minimum two (2) years of project management experience. Six Sigma Green Belt or PMP

preferred.

  • Proven Leadership experience in areas of Operations, Manufacturing or Quality.

  • Possesses a broad understanding of business systems and industry requirements.

  • Ability to present to senior leadership on sensitive subject matters.

  • Ability to facilitate large groups toward the development of common solutions.

  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.

  • Ability to multi-task and be flexible.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the

work environment.

  • Proficient in Windows based software programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access,

Visio).

The RCA Professional will have a sound understanding of Investor requirements. They will partner with Home Mortgage Origination and Servicing, other RCA Professionals, and RCA Managers to create, implement, maintain, review and oversee an effective risk management framework. In addition, they will participate in projects and/or activities that ensure compliance with investor requirements as well as applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Responsibilities: * Provide risk related oversight, guidance and consultation for assigned business lines. * Monitor and provide oversight to mortgage investor changes including facilitation of HUD Governance Committee meetings. * Identify gaps to investor requirements and work with the business line(s) to remediate gaps within established risk framework ensuring quality output. * Participate and / or lead project and activities that minimize business line risk. * Engage on business line risk assessments. Understand impacts leading to business lines' risk ratings. * Consult with business lines on audit findings; assist with determining acceptable risk balanced solutions providing credible challenge when needed. Review remediated issues for completeness and sustainability. * Monitor business lines open remediation issues. Insure progress toward completion is on target and escalate when appropriate. * Work with the business lines on Audit & Exams to monitor status, conduct pre-assessments as needed, and provide credible challenge as appropriate. * Work with business lines to ensure completeness in loss reporting. Assist in determining root causes for losses and go forward preventative measures. * Work with the business line to understand proposed business changes. Monitor progress on business change risk assessments and complete post implementation reviews to ensure risk mitigation plans are completed and changes have been implemented as planned. * Provide subject matter expert input on risk related issues. Partner with business lines, IT and other areas to determine best risk balanced approach to threats or issues. * This position is open to remote throughout the United States* Basic Qualifications * Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience * Seven to ten years of experience in an applicable risk management environment and Home Mortgage Origination and Servicing Preferred Skills/Experience * Strong understanding of mortgage investor requirements * Strong understanding of the mortgage process * Ten or more years of professional work experience * Considerable knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends that impact Home Mortgage Origination and Servicing * Considerable knowledge of Risk/Compliance/Audit competencies * Strong process facilitation, project management, and analytical skills * Must possess business acumen and credibility to help business line(s) proactively identify and address changing workforce needs * Excellent presentation, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills * Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Office applications and word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations * Applicable professional certifications preferred * This position is open to remote but preferred in Minneapolis or Cincinnati* US Bank Cincinnati OH
