We are seeking a senior mobile developer with demonstrated experience designing and implementing enterprise scale mobile solutions. The ideal candidate will bring both strategic vision and solid execution skills to create native applications for mobile devices.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop React Native Hybrid applications

  • Integrate mobile apps with RESTful web services

  • Work with UX Designers, Mobile Architects and other Developers to build enterprise mobile solutions

  • Work as part of an agile team on leading edge technologies

Skills and Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience developing applications software

  • Demonstrated experience in React, React Nativea for Android (nice to have)

  • Excellent working knowledge of an objective oriented language (Java, C++, Objective-C, C#, or similar) - including 2+ years Java

  • Demonstrated expertise with the Android SDK

  • Experience using RESTful APIs to integrate mobile applications to server side systems

  • Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript a plus

  • Good understanding of software development best practices

  • Experience working in an agile environment

  • Working knowledge of SCM with strong emphasis on Git and proper Git Flow

  • Must reference at least one application you developed that is available today

Qualifications:

  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

  • Good communicator and team player with strong organizational skills

  • Ability to be proactive, find solutions and meet deadlines

  • A good sense of humor and a passion for technology

VIEW JOBS 11/16/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-14T00:00 Classification Title: Patient Advocate Job Description: The Mobile Outreach Clinic (MOC) a division of the Department of Community Health and Family Medicine, in the College of Medicine at the University of Florida is seeking an individual with a passion for community outreach and who has medical skills that range from obtaining patient vitals and triage to phlebotomy and assisting in the administration of treatment. The MOC is a multidisciplinary outpatient clinical operation dedicated to providing education to the University of Florida's College of Medicine, School of Physician Assistant studies and other health science center students. We specialize in screening for the effects of the social determinants of health on the health outcomes of our patients and work to help mitigate any negative impact. The Patient Advocate will assist with the development and is responsible for the implementation of customer service and patient relation initiatives. The advocate will also assist our clinicians in triaging and providing superb clinical care to our patients and offer instructions and demonstration to students, interns, and residents. Candidates must have excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a positive attitude. We are looking for an outgoing person who has a history with displaying initiative. The Patient Advocate will act in a mentor/advisory capacity to MOC's team of volunteer care coordinators, interns and other members of staff and may assign work to and assist less experienced professionals or support staff. Job functions below are essential functions of this position, however, these functions are not all-inclusive nor do they cover the full extent of the duties performed. Patient chart review and health education: * Coordinates patient referrals to medical, psychological, and social services. * Follows program and departmental policy and procedures to solve specific operating problems and improve patient care. * Coordinate the daily responsibilities of the clinic to include: provider and patient schedule management, chart management, and working with clinical and clerical staff to provide coordination of clinical care and non-medical/administrative aspects of patient care. Review and process referrals to specialists: * Maintain liaison with physicians, research personnel and staff to resolve problems, to offer advice concerning technical procedures, techniques and equipment, and to maintain conformance with specific operational standards. * Establishes and implements plans for the promotion of clinic services and patient health education to the targeted population. * Serve as an advocate for and allocate available resources to promote efficient, effective, and compassionate care for patients. * Respond to suggestions and compliments submitted by patients and provide positive reinforcement to involved staff. * Document patient/visitor concerns to include patient demographic data, synopsis of incident, actions taken to resolve, and outcomes. Compose letters or e-mails to patients, visitors, or physicians, and leadership, ensuring grammatical accuracy and compliance with applicable University of Florida policy. Obtain and process blood and urine specimens for off-site lab testing: * Laboratory processing including use of a centrifuge and pipette to aliquot specimens. Excellent venipuncture skills; serves as liaison with health care professionals. Quality assurance testing and updating logs: * Implements quality assurance programs relating to calibration and maintenance of medical equipment. * Maintains inventories of medical and operating supplies and equipment, and ensures the functionality of clinic facilities. Responsible for maintaining established clinic organization structure and works to keep the clinical area clean and functional. Provide training and mentorship to care coordinators: * Meet weekly to discuss outcomes and suggestions for improvement when necessary. * Provides input in developing annual operating budgets for the unit. Misc. responsibilities: * Creating and updating schedule for medical providers * Complete Point of Care Tests * Assist with medication refills Advertised Salary: The salary range is between $40,000 and $50,000 annually. Minimum Requirements: A bachelor's degree in behavioral science or related field; or a high school diploma and four years of appropriate experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience. Appropriate state medical licensure and/or certification. Depending on the final hire (If RN) Licensed as a registered nurse in accordance with Chapter 464, Florida Statutes. Or, (If LPN) Licensed as a practical nurse in accordance with Chapter 464, Florida Statutes. However, this position is not limited to RN's or LPN's.
