Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Senior Medical Technologist to join our dynamic team on the day shift. As a Senior Medical Technologist, you will play a critical role in our laboratory operations, performing complex laboratory tests, analyzing results, and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of diagnostic information. You will also have the opportunity to mentor and train junior staff, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of laboratory tests with precision and accuracy, including but not limited to hematology, chemistry, microbiology, immunology, and molecular diagnostics.
• Analyze and interpret test results, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure the validity and reliability of laboratory data.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, instruments, and supplies in optimal condition, adhering to quality control standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provide guidance and support to junior staff members, serving as a resource for technical expertise, training, and professional development.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, physicians, and other team members to deliver timely and accurate diagnostic information, contributing to patient care decisions.
• Participate in quality improvement activities, including proficiency testing, quality assurance, and process optimization initiatives.
• Stay current with advances in laboratory technology, techniques, and best practices, and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of laboratory services.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field from an accredited institution.
• Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT/MLS) by ASCP or equivalent professional certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Medical Technologist in a clinical laboratory setting, with demonstrated proficiency in performing complex laboratory tests and procedures.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Shift, Salary and Benefits:

• Day shift: Monday- Friday 7:00am- 3:30pm
