8 hrs/week evening shift
Performs simple to complex clinical laboratory tests in one or more sections of the laboratory. Work requires an advanced professional level of knowledge and increasing responsibility in order to perform, interpret and record patient test results, especially those which are abnormal or atypical. Individuals advance job knowledge and skills by selecting a training track (technical, management, education or computers/databases) that drives job assignments.
Increased responsibilities for test or instrument troubleshooting; test result correlation; occurrence report investigation; development and implementation of new tests and equipment; teaching and training of MLS 1 and 2 and students; audits to insure laboratory compliance with regulatory agencies; assist with policies, procedures and forms.

Environmental Conditions: Potential exposure to fumes, dust, gases, and odors.
Frequent changes in temperature may occur. Possibility of exposure to communicable diseases.
