ChristianaCare is hiring a Senior Medical Assistant for the Breast Surgery Center in Newark, DE.

The practice has 4 physician's, in addition to 2 APC's. Our medical assistants are responsible for all rooming, chaperoning, supporting office procedures, patient check-out, chart prep, phone triage, Cerner desktop management, FMLA/disability paperwork and prior authorizations, both surgical and diagnostic.

Work Schedule:

• Monday

• Thursday: 8:15

• 4:45

• Fridays: 7:30a

• 4p

• No holidays required.

Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or Equivalent

• A graduate of a recognized Medical Office Assistant Program or

• Hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)

• 2 years' experience as a Medical Assistant is required; 3 years' experience is preferred
