Medica's Senior Medicaid Quality Improvement Program Manager will work in close partnership with our product and quality teams to provide leadership & oversight related to Medicaid improvement goals and initiatives. Our Program Manager directs execution of programs that will allow Medica to meet DHS Medicaid quality requirements, achieve DHS withhold goals, and achieve superior quality ratings for Medicaid products.
Key Accountabilities:
Making decisions on the analysis of Minnesota Medicaid withhold elements
Identifying opportunities for program improvements
Designing and managing initiatives to support these improvements and analyzing financial impacts
Managing and mitigating potential impact to other initiatives and strategies within Medica, including in other product lines
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
7+ years of experience required in the field
Project management and/or program management experience required
Demonstrated Medicaid experience required
Health plan quality experience strongly preferred; will also consider provider quality experience in lieu of health plan experience
Experience with developing and giving presentations to internal and external stakeholders
Experience with STARS and/or HEDIS quality measures
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to analyze data and use this data to formulate and execute on strategy. As well as prioritize initiatives and opportunities based on business need
Ability to work and make decisions autonomously and with limited supervision
Solution and detail oriented with advanced program and project management skills
Strong proficiency with Microsoft office tools
Attention to detail with ability to analyze member reports and recommend action to leadership
Excellent collaborator and able to influence and direct work contributions from non-direct reports to meet critical program deliverables and timelines
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal - able to communicate information efficiently to both internal and external program and product stakeholders
This position is a Hub role, which requires an employee to occasionally come onsite to the designated office
The full salary range for this position is $85,000 - $145,700. Annual salary range placement will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, applicable certifications and/or licensure, the position's scope and responsibility, internal pay equity and external market salary data.
