What You'll Do:
Supervise mechanical engineers and other staff.
Assist engineers to identify areas for technical and career development.
Partner with manager to develop engineering department through leadership, training and continuous improvement.
Manage several on-going projects concurrently, including staffing, workload issues, and meeting project timelines
Design mechanical equipment to meet customer requirements.
Responsible for leading cross-functional technical teams throughout the lifecycle of various projects.
Assists with the successful management of assigned programs as they relate to cost, quality, timing and customer satisfaction.

What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Engineering Management or MBA degree desirable
FE Exam OR EIT preferred
10+ years of related experience
2+ years leading technical projects
Skills You'll Have:
Experienced with CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, Creo, NX, AutoCAD)
Breadth and depth of experience with automation products, services, and the industry.
Ability to identify systemic issues to improve department efficiency.
Experience leading technical pr
Other Details:
Travel up to 20% to customer sites & other JR locations
Negotiate critical issues with internal and customer engineers and leaders.
Conduct presentations and may participate in media interviews.
Lead teams and influence project direction and progress.
Serve as a technical expert and leader in the department.
