Job Title: Sr Mechanical Engineer

Seeking a Mechanical Engineer with strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task. This position is an excellent platform for someone who is seeking to grow their leadership experience as well as continue to develop as a technical expert in the mechanical design industry.

Schedule:

100% onsite / Monday - Friday

Description:

The Sr Mechanical Engineer's duties & responsibilities are to produce mechanical assessments and designs, both HVAC and plumbing. This Engineer will also be in charge of leading other mechanical engineers and designers for project efforts. This role requires the ability to lead, multi-task, flexibility, and technical competence in building mechanical systems. The Sr. Mechanical Engineer will (preferably) have their PE and has managed staff before. The position will be a split role of people manager and production oversight. They will also be responsible for all communication up and down (JR Engineers & SR Partners as well as clients).

Responsibilities:

• Ability to produce quality designs specific to Mechanical Building Systems, HVAV, Air Handlers, Chillers, and Boilers

• Must be experienced with Revit (all building systems are designed in)

• A candidate who is flexible; ability to do some production work if necessary to deliver for clients.

• Review designs and assist with answering teams questions

• Work as a mentor to JR Engineers

• Ability to perform client facing responsibilities

• Experience designing mechanical building systems, HVAC systems, air handlers, chillers, boilers, etc.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science Degree; Engineering

• Professional Engineer (PE) required.

• Good ability to communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand.

• Ability to lead and delegate.

• To present themselves professionally.
