Provide direct support of electro-mechanical building and production manufacturing equipment. Support internal customers and facility infrastructure in a 24x7 operation.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain, support, troubleshoot and upgrade facility infrastructure and production equipment as required.
Work directly with internal customers to provide support and communicate results.
Effectively plan and coordinate work activities with engineering & facilities staff.
Communicate status of project activities.
Consult on technical issues and projects.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 2 year associates degree or equivalent mechanical experience.
Minimum of 5-7 years' experience with ventilation system, fume hood, dust collector, air compressor, vacuum pump, pneumatic pump, RO/DI water systems, chiller/heating water system, centrifuges and acid scrubber.
Chemical and hazardous waste pumping/handling system experience.
Strong safety background (Certifications a plus).
Knowledge of building automation software a plus.
Basic electrical troubleshooting background.
Strong computer proficiency.
Able to work with operations staff and engineers in a cross-functional team setting.
