Provide direct support of electro-mechanical building and production manufacturing equipment. Support internal customers and facility infrastructure in a 24x7 operation.


  • Maintain, support, troubleshoot and upgrade facility infrastructure and production equipment as required.

  • Work directly with internal customers to provide support and communicate results.

  • Effectively plan and coordinate work activities with engineering & facilities staff.

  • Communicate status of project activities.

  • Consult on technical issues and projects.


  • Minimum 2 year associates degree or equivalent mechanical experience.

  • Minimum of 5-7 years' experience with ventilation system, fume hood, dust collector, air compressor, vacuum pump, pneumatic pump, RO/DI water systems, chiller/heating water system, centrifuges and acid scrubber.

  • Chemical and hazardous waste pumping/handling system experience.

  • Strong safety background (Certifications a plus).

  • Knowledge of building automation software a plus.

  • Basic electrical troubleshooting background.

  • Strong computer proficiency.

  • Able to work with operations staff and engineers in a cross-functional team setting.

Phillips 66 & YOU- Together we can fuel the future Description The Mechanic (Multi Craft) role works independently and with others to perform preventative, predictive and routine maintenance tasks. They troubleshoot issues, repair failures of production and facilities equipment, and ensure maximum equipment efficiency and effectiveness. Responsibilities may include: * Performing maintenance and repair on pipeline pump stations and terminal equipment, which includes natural gas fired engines, diesel-fired engines, motors, centrifugal and positive displacement pumps, compressors, meters, gravitometers, transmitters, valves, pressure control and limiting devices, and other equipment * Ensuring the safe, effective and efficient performance of maintenance and operation activities in accordance with Company standards and regulatory guidelines * Complying with company policies, procedures and directives * Performing minor electrical work * Performing work on air pollution control equipment * Performing required preventive and corrective maintenance on various types of equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations * Identifying maintenance work and initiating work requests * Driving a company owned vehicle within assigned area * Training less experienced employees and overseeing the work of contract personnel * Writing procedures, instructions, training materials and safety and operating permits * Working on a Pipeline on an as needed basis * Ability to diagnose mechanical problems This is a union represented position Qualifications Basic/Required: * Legally authorized to work in the job posting country * High School Diploma/GED equivalent * Must be 18 years of age or older * Must maintain a valid driver's license * 1 or more years maintenance/mechanical experience in oil and gas or related industry * Willing and able perform/comply, with or without a reasonable accommodation, with the following: * Climb various ladders and stairs ranging 5 to 40 feet in height to operate valves, gauge tanks, or perform maintenance on equipment are a part of this position * Raise and transport articles weighing up to 60 pounds * Walk, stand, stoop, sit, climb, and carry material on a daily basis on even and uneven terrain * Work outside in harsh weather conditions * Work alone a high percentage of the time * Travel at least 10 to 15 percent of the time * Be on-call 24 hours a day * Work scheduled or unscheduled overtime on an as-needed basis * Wear fire-retardant clothing and other personal protective equipment, such as steel-toe shoes and ear and eye protection * Maintain all required operations and safety training including required Operator Qualifications for DOT covered tasks * Willing and able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC); information can be found at Conditions of employment may include successful completion of an entry-level test.
