Senior Licensed Master Social Worker

We are currently looking for a Senior LMSW to join our Case Management team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company with a reputation for exceptional service and patient care.

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include assessment, identification of specific needs, and social service intervention while in the acute setting. Maintains confidentiality when interacting with patients, families, personnel and the public. Makes referrals to a wide variety of community resources such as Public Health, CPS, APS, community counseling centers and private counselors as needed. Supports University Health System mission, vision and values. Demonstrates established customer service behaviors and standards. Treats all customers with courtesy, dignity, respect and professionalism. Performs supervisory activities.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Master's degree in Social Work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education is required. Five years post-masters experience in a health care setting is required, with six to seven years preferred.

LICENSURE

Current licensure from the Texas Department of Human Services is required. ACP licensure is preferred.
