Zeta is seeking a Sr. Marketing Strategist to join a growing team for one of our largest strategic accounts who will be responsible for the planning, measurement and optimization of all channel's in the digital marketing communications space (email, podcasts, video, search, paid search, social, publisher networks, website etc.) as well as other traditional and off-line advertisement mediums (direct mail, video, billboard, spokespersons, partnerships, events, print)
You will interface directly with our client contacts and considerably with your colleagues (working directly with our Sr. Director of Customer Experience on the team) to create digital channel marketing strategies, customer journeys and program development recommendations for our client and team. You will be able to plan your recommendations from initial ideation through to detailed user stories and functional requirements, to brief and review the Creative development of the programs and to measure their impact once live.
You will also be responsible for providing new recommendations strategic planning projects, program initiatives or new functionality implementation within existing mediums proactively, to support performance improvements of any efforts and initiatives in market. The Sr. Marketing Strategist will report into the Sr. Director of Client Services for the team and work under the direction of the Sr. Director of Customer Experience.
New program recommendations and existing program optimizations for our team, working with our Sr. Director of Customer Experience
Define/influence digital and traditional channel strategy and development plans our client
Track and optimize program engagement and conversion, working with our Analytics Resource where necessary, and doing direct analytics yourself as well
Interpret industry developments and consumer trends to provide proactive recommendations to Client Services teams and directly to clients
Monitor program and channel Key Performance Indicators and adjust recommendations to optimize performance; produce reports for clients to track and analyze performance
Support new business pitches and new proposition development by demonstrating and delivering subject matter expertise
Research and qualify new marketing medium/channel opportunities and present recommendations to your team and the Sr. Director of Customer Experience
Degree level education
8+ years Digital and Traditional marketing campaign planning and execution experience, with specific experience in brand marketing and partnership development.
Have demonstrable examples of direct involvement in consumer behavior tracking and analysis
Act as credible SME for specific digital and traditional channel activation strategy
Detailed understanding of optimization of program targeting and design
Have knowledge and experience in the subtleties of different marketing mediums
Contribute to overall strategy development and execution
Be analytically astute and experienced in the use of performance statistics and customer data to inform business recommendations
Credible client-facing skills including presenting to all levels of client seniority, report-writing and proposal-writing skills and a strong grasp of relationship management techniques
Have experience working with Creative teams, and defining creative and copywriting needs and requirements
