About this Opportunity
As a Senior Marketing Specialist, Sales Enablement and Strategic Selling, you'll be responsible for overseeing the deployment and ongoing program management of integrated initiatives across the North America Contract business, acting as the nexus to drive connections between Marketing and Sales. This role will champion and own the advancement of key priorities across both functions to deliver excellence in sales programming, customer engagement, and market effectiveness.

Consult the wider Marketing Team on sales initiatives and priorities to ensure synergies in work, tools, and experiences fit.
Lead the programming of campaigns and initiatives within our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform, with an emphasis on embedding knowledge and insight across the customer journey.
Lead sales enablement initiatives across Marketing, Sales, and Distribution channels in line with priorities, owning the implementation of strategic decisions, operationalizing programs, and measuring results.
Lead social selling programs, enhancements, and best practices across North America Contract (NAC)/Global Sales Teams, collaborating with business leads on content strategy.
Manage account-based and strategic selling initiatives to meet customers earlier and engage deeper across the Audiences, Customer Marketing, and Customer Excellence Teams.
Manage demand generation initiatives to build and fill sales funnels, owning qualification, hand-off process, and results tracking.
Manage project and budget allocations as required.
Manage workflow through the Herman Miller Brand and Design Teams as required.
Partner with Marketing Teams to create sales tools and targeted campaign assets.
Partner with Sales Excellence and Sales Readiness to drive deployment across NAC Sales Teams across all related Excellence/Readiness touch points.
Partner with Vector and Marketing Leads to coordinate, synthesize, and streamline launch communications/training into windows for efficiencies and impact, including Herman Miller Bootcamps.
Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.

A Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field.
Seven or more years of experience in marketing, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Experience working in sales, sales operations, or sales enablement (preferred). A PMP qualification is advantageous.
A broad knowledge of integrated sales and marketing processes and tactics, including digital and social techniques and their impact in the customer buying journey.
Strong project management skills with experience in leading and owning projects from start to finish across cross-functional teams.
Proven organizational and time management skills. You must also be self-motivated and able to work independently.
A demonstrated ability to manage multiple, complex projects in a timely manner in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities.
Demonstrated written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to communicate information, ideas, procedures, and processes in a logical sequence at a level appropriate to a range of audiences, resulting in effective working relationships.
A demonstrated ability to lead, influence, solve problems, and work with all levels in the organization and in a cross-functional environment.
The ability to lead, inspire, and drive a range of teams and external partnerships forward, as well as proven networking skills.
The ability to be proactive, resourceful, flexible, and to manage you time effectively, as well as others.
An ability to balance needs, challenge the status quo, and drive new concepts forward.
Microsoft Office, Project, Outlook, and Adobe Creative Suite skills.
