We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic Safety Services Segment team. This strategic role is integral to the development and execution of marketing strategies aimed at promoting safety services and solutions within our organization. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving market growth, enhancing brand visibility, and increasing market share within the safety services segment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

To include, but not limited to the following:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies focused on the safety services segment, aligning to the company's goals and objectives.

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, demands, and competitor strategies within the safety services industry.

  • Active leader and mentor within the APi Group Marketing & Communications team, working with the fire and life safety operating companies in an advisory role.

  • Create and manage targeted marketing campaigns (digital and traditional) that effectively reach our desired audience and achieve set KPIs.

  • Develop compelling marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and website content, tailored to the safety services segment.

  • Plan and execute events, webinars, and trade shows to promote our safety services and engage with potential customers.

  • Work closely with sales teams to align marketing strategies with sales objectives and provide them with necessary tools and materials.

  • Partner with internal business groups to drive strategic operational initiatives where marketing partnership may be necessary, leveraging collaboration to enhance the effectiveness and reach of marketing efforts.

  • Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of marketing initiatives, using data to drive continuous improvement and optimization.

  • Develop standardized messaging across all operating companies in the safety segment to ensure consistency and alignment with the overarching marketing strategies and objectives.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with industry influencers, stakeholders, and partners to enhance brand visibility and market penetration.

  • Partner with the business on regulatory changes and industry standards that impact the safety services market, ensuring our strategies and messages are relevant and compliant.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, with at least 2 years focused on marketing within the safety services industry or related fields.

  • Strong understanding of the life safety market, including trends, challenges, and regulatory requirements.

  • Demonstrated ability to set and achieve measurable KPIs for marketing campaigns, showcasing success through numerical targets or percentages.

  • Proficient in digital marketing strategies, tools, and platforms.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to create compelling marketing materials and presentations.

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, and external partners.

  • Bring an innovation and creative mindset to marketing life safety services.

  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in measuring and analyzing campaign performance.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on detail and deadlines.

  • Willingness to travel as required for events, internal company meetings, conferences, and customer meetings.

Location: We are open to candidates located near our headquarters in New Brighton, MN, or in the following metropolitan areas:

  • Dallas/Fort Worth, TX

  • Seattle, WA

Travel Requirements:

  • This role involves travel up to 50% of the time

  • Must hold the necessary documentation to travel to Canada, as needed

Benefits and Compensation:

The pay range is $86,100 - $129,100, depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for annual bonus and profit sharing based on company performance in addition to other benefits that support the total well-being of you and your family.  Some benefits include:
