Project manage the day-to-day activities associated with channel marketing. Manages the development and key action to execute sales and channel marketing plans.

Serves as cross-functional resource with sales, tradeshow, product and demand generation partners in tactical and strategic discussions. Works on countermeasures and improvement opportunities to improve performance and process.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Develops marketing material (regional promotions, flyers, brochures, newsletters, advertisements, training modules, merchandising, etc) to support Regional Sales teams and channel marketing initiatives. Collaborates with the other teams and vendors to ensure project deadlines are met and ensures brand and legal compliance when applicable. Tracks budgets, success of program campaigns and communicates performance metrics. Manage the distribution and tracking of Acuity Brands co-op funds. (50%)

Successfully manage aspects of customer trade shows and events, including conception, pre-event prep work, on-site logistics, presentation, lead generation and post-show activities. Interact with customers on benefits of lighting solutions and be able to articulate the Acuity Brands vision and value prop. (15%)

Trains internal and external audiences on distributor tools and resources. Develop deep knowledge of assigned territories and customers to operate as an extension of the sales organization. On occasion, travel to customer locations for program reviews and development opportunities, as needed. Conduct segment, channel and industry based research and analysis, as needed. (15%)

Utilizes ABS to drive continuous improvement in marketing and communications processes. Utilizes, creates and maintains standard work for best practices. Monitors and measures results and implements continuous improvement. (10%)

Other sales and marketing duties as assigned by Manager, Distributor Marketing. (10%)
