Job Description
As an Email strategist (reporting to the Senior Director of digital), this person will be responsible for the implementation and management of all facets of email communications. They will effectively manage the flow of strategy and deliverables to provide both proactive and reactive strategic marketing consultation to support business development, business lead engagement and sales initiatives.
Accountabilities:
This Email strategist's mission is to get the most out of the email programs by translating complex data into actionable strategies. They will contribute to the success of Press Ganey, Forsta, etc. and the products and services we support by leading and delivering strategic consulting solutions which solve critical business problems across the email ecosystem. This position must maintain effective communication within the digital marketing team, but also advise and collaborate with key stakeholders on product marketing, client marketing, creative, events and brand teams. In addition, this role will provide training and assistance to lower-level associates when applicable.
Expectations:
The Email strategist is expected to be the subject matter expert for all things associated to email marketing communication. You'll refine the Press Ganey/Forsta/etc. email strategy road map, provide on-going strategic consulting across products and solutions for campaign initiatives, identify areas for optimization, develop email best practices, monitor market/channel/competitive trends, list management, and may be asked to build POVs/position papers on industry issues. Additional expectations include dashboard integration and email analysis to share reports which track the overall effectiveness for continued improvement of email initiatives.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in marketing or communications/journalism, 5 years of email marketing experience (B2B preferred). Additionally, we're looking for strong written, verbal and analytical skills to align global best practices and strategic priorities among marketers, business leaders and agency partners, and the ability to create an environment where all are encouraged to constructively challenge ideas/decisions.

Data Dashboard experience
Experience in using Project Management Tools (Asana preferred)
Microsoft Suite Products

Pay Transparency Non-Discrimination Notice
The expected base salary for this position ranges from $101,000 to $140,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus or commission tied to achieved results.
