Consumer Electronics (CE) Marketing is revolutionizing the CE shopping experience ( for customers and vendors through CX innovations, marketing automation and performance analytics, brand collaboration, and demand generation. The demand generation team aims to make Amazon the first place customers turn for Consumer Electronics and is looking for a talented, customer-obsessed Sr. Marketing Manager to join the team.

This role will oversee a year-long marketing strategy to increase CE Share of Voice and drive traffic generation/marketing tactics for the top CE products along with developing deep customer and industry insights. Core responsibilities include: messaging and positioning; creative development; providing customer and industry insights; testing emerging channels; and end to end execution of marketing plans. Additionally, this role will lead go-to-market efforts for category specific strategic initiatives throughout the year requiring close collaboration with partner teams including Amazon Advertising, Associates, Influencers, and Paid Search/Social to increase visibility for CE products across Amazon.

The ideal candidate must be able to work at the strategic level (generating bold and innovative ideas for growth) and at the tactical level (managing campaigns with site merchandising tools, analyzing traffic data, and solving problems). The ideal candidate must also have proven analytical skills and a history of solving complex marketing challenges at all stages of the customer purchase funnel. This position requires a candidate who builds marketing strategies from a data-driven perspective derived through constant testing and a thorough analysis of the impact to the business.

The Senior Marketing Manager will work to understand customer needs and build a recommendation for the marketing messaging and channels that will most effectively reach those customers. The Senior Marketing Manager will also shape the customer experience and website design elements ensuring the right voice and high-quality content are maintained across Amazon.

Senior Marketing Managers provide leadership for their teams and the business, championing growth and profitability initiatives to improve results. Serving as the pivot point and cross functional leader, the Senior Marketing Manager is expected to manage and drive their team's work across the functional matrix both within the marketing & innovation team and across sales, supply chain and other departments to achieve objectives and business improvement. The Senior Marketing Manager is the voice of the consumer, the customer and their team within the Darigold organization. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned): * Grow volume, revenue and profitability of assigned categories and brands * Strengthen long term competitiveness of assigned categories and brands * Lead development and execution of strategic and tactical planning for assigned categories and brands * Annual Operating Plan * Tactical marketing plans * Major initiative development * Innovation and other new product development * Consumer communications * Customer collaboration * Collaborate with sales team to achieve retailer based objectives, pricing objectives and trade level setting and strategy * Ensure ongoing business and project management practices are followed on a regular interval and standardized process and as assigned * Ensure ongoing business analysis process is followed rigorously and comprehensively as per assigned or self-directed intervals * Supervise management and execution of business building initiatives and tactics * Manage up to 4 direct reports, typically marketing coordinators, assistant, associate or marketing managers * Support consumer products leadership and executive team in annual and long-term planning * Support Darigold companywide initiatives as well as those driven by other departments and teams Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: * Deep, broad and sophisticated understanding of CPG/FMCG business principles, strategy and best practices * Excellent business acumen and tactical judgement * Highly adaptable intelligence and entrepreneurial problem-solving ability * Well developed, 360-degree leadership traits and substantial communication skills * Robust management skills marked by ability to judge and acquire talent, practice radical candor, effectively coach and mentor developing marketers * Effective and creative cross functional collaborator and integrator * Excellent understanding of, and ability to readily apply, standard marketing and strategic concepts such as 4P's, 5C's, SWOT, etc. * Strong strategic and tactical planning ability including development and application of positioning, portfolio planning, competitive analysis, customer joint business planning and other frameworks * Strong understanding of commodity influenced and linked businesses and concepts around mix, fallout and tradeoffs as well as familiarity with agribusiness conditions, trends and concepts * Strong understanding of the US food marketplace including both retailer and foodservice channels * Good understanding of financial and accounting statements, concepts and principles for CPG/FMCG businesses * Good understanding of consumer insights and primary research concepts and tactics such as home use testing, focus groups, surveys, attitudinal, ethonographic and concept testing. * Good analysis and judgement of creative work to ensure quality, alignment and effectiveness * Good understanding of consumer communications best practices, options, mix analysis and current environment trends * Good understanding of POS and syndicated data concepts, analysis and sources such as Nielsen, IRI, Retail Link, consumer panel, NPD, Kantar, Spectra / psychographic, etc. Education, Experience and Certifications: * 7-10 years of progressively advancing brand management experience required, 3-5 years brand management experience in an agribusiness or commodity linked environment preferred, 3-5 years of brand management experience in dairy or other perishables foods preferred * Demonstrated success in competitive and high criteria professional and/or academic environments * BA/BS required, MBA preferred – expectation of at least 1 academic degree in business, marketing or related area * Career related training, certifications or other lifetime learning activities is of interest Darigold is known for delivering fresh, high quality, value-added dairy products to people, & customer-driven solutions to organizations, all around the globe.
