Consumer Electronics (CE) Marketing is revolutionizing the CE shopping experience (www.amazon.com/electronics) for customers and vendors through CX innovations, marketing automation and performance analytics, brand collaboration, and demand generation. The demand generation team aims to make Amazon the first place customers turn for Consumer Electronics and is looking for a talented, customer-obsessed Sr. Marketing Manager to join the team.
This role will oversee a year-long marketing strategy to increase CE Share of Voice and drive traffic generation/marketing tactics for the top CE products along with developing deep customer and industry insights. Core responsibilities include: messaging and positioning; creative development; providing customer and industry insights; testing emerging channels; and end to end execution of marketing plans. Additionally, this role will lead go-to-market efforts for category specific strategic initiatives throughout the year requiring close collaboration with partner teams including Amazon Advertising, Associates, Influencers, and Paid Search/Social to increase visibility for CE products across Amazon.
The ideal candidate must be able to work at the strategic level (generating bold and innovative ideas for growth) and at the tactical level (managing campaigns with site merchandising tools, analyzing traffic data, and solving problems). The ideal candidate must also have proven analytical skills and a history of solving complex marketing challenges at all stages of the customer purchase funnel. This position requires a candidate who builds marketing strategies from a data-driven perspective derived through constant testing and a thorough analysis of the impact to the business.
The Senior Marketing Manager will work to understand customer needs and build a recommendation for the marketing messaging and channels that will most effectively reach those customers. The Senior Marketing Manager will also shape the customer experience and website design elements ensuring the right voice and high-quality content are maintained across Amazon.
