NEUTROGENA is a powerhouse brand that develops, manufactures, and markets skin and hair care products sold worldwide and recommended by Dermatologists. The product line includes facial cleansers and moisturizers, sun protection, acne, cosmetics, body moisturizers and washes, shampoo, and other hair and skin care products.

Role reports to: Global President Skin Health

Location: Kenvue's corporate headquarters is currently located in Skillman NJ, but is scheduled to move to Summit, NJ in or around early 2025.

Travel %: 20

Pay: Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $160,000 to $276,000. This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate's skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.

What you will do

The SENIOR MARKETING DIRECTOR NEUTROGENA SUN, BODY & MAKEUP SH&B is responsible for directing, developing, and executing the annual marketing plan, making recommendations for company marketing strategy, designing sales incentive schemes, managing relationships with outside vendor agencies, and ensuring adherence to the annual budget. As the Senior Director, you will provide leadership on key business issues and identify marketing opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute marketing strategies for Neutrogena Sun, Body & Makeup SH&B products in alignment with company goals and objectives.

• Lead and manage a team of marketing professionals to ensure successful implementation of marketing plans.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels.

• Identify and analyze market trends and consumer insights to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.

• Manage the marketing budget and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including retailers, influencers, and media outlets.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve marketing efforts.

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and guidelines.

• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies in alignment with the company's strategic plan

• Lead and manage critical business processes such as portfolio management, market research, and new product launches

• Design and implement sales incentive schemes to ensure alignment with established marketing strategies

• Identify and capitalize on local marketing opportunities to drive business growth

• Establish and manage relationships with outside vendor agencies to support marketing initiatives

• Create and direct annual communications, research, and public relations plans to support the strategic marketing plan

• Provide leadership on key business issues and ensure adherence to the annual budget

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business Administration or related field

• A minimum of 10-12 years of related experience in marketing and sales

• Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns/strategies

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to think creatively and strategically

• Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decision-making

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and guidelines for the beauty and personal care industry

Desired Qualifications

• Category expertise in the beauty and personal care industry is a plus.

• Knowledge of branding, positioning, and pricing strategies

• Experience in designing and implementing sales incentive schemes to ensure alignment with established marketing strategies

• Ability to identify and capitalize on local marketing opportunities to drive business growth

• Specialized software knowledge or other high-level qualifications
