CannonDesign has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Marketing Coordinator in our Houston, TX office. Marketing staff are integral and respected members of our team. The successful candidate will partner with other marketing coordinators, senior marketing leadership and the leaders of the Houston office to establish strategy and help run new business pursuits. Primary responsibilities include: Collaborate with team members on pre-positioning and pursuit strategy, proposal composition and content, writing, design, and production of compelling and engaging marketing materials.Participate in overall marketing and client engagement strategy development for market

Author and edit original content for pursuit packages that demonstrates alignment between CannonDesign and the opportunity. Contribute to the communications team supporting PR and fixed marketing collateral

Participate in developing and nourishing client relations by knowing and promoting the firm's portfolio and services.Prepare/ format project narratives, statistics, graphics, resumes, etc. for inclusion in all aspects of professional service marketing submissions in collaboration with market leaders.Work with the marketing and communications team to determine the appropriate approach and strategy in creating firm qualification, proposal and interview materials.Create and update portfolio pages, presentations and related marketing materials using existing design templates and brand standards. Maintain and track opportunities and project information in firm databases.Conduct market and client research and develop custom reports.

Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. A minimum of ten years of related work experience required. Related experience working in a marketing or communications role for a professional services firm preferred.

An established local network in the A/E industry is beneficial, but not required. The ideal candidate will be proactive, self-driven, organized and have an enthusiasm for innovation. Must be detailed oriented and possess excellent written communication skills, a strong command of grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, and editing.

Strong time and project management skills are essential. We require proficiency with InDesign, Word and PowerPoint. Familiarity with Deltek CRM Vision and Salesforce is a plus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned; * Coordinate all planning and implementation of Houston Ballet Academy and Education marketing efforts, including strategic planning, communications, advertising campaigns, email, budgets, and reporting. * Assist in logistics, planning and execution of Houston Ballet community events such as Theater District Open House, Academy promotional appearances, and Houston Ballet Outdoor performances. * Maintain and implement a content calendar for Houston Ballet Academy's Facebook page and assist with Houston Ballet social media accounts as needed. * Facilitate Houston Ballet Academy's email marketing program, including planning, content creation, and reporting. * Assist the PR Manager with Academy related press efforts, including calendar listings, press releases, media alerts, public appearances and booking Academy personnel for interviews. * Execute all job functions while maintaining brand integrity and high-quality work with a patron-centered focus, with a positive, teamwork-oriented attitude. * Assist the Marketing & PR department with main stage marketing and PR as needed and all other projects and tasks as assigned. Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in PR, Marketing, Communications or related field. * Two to five years related experience and/or training. * Reliable transportation with a valid driver's license. * Classical ballet experience preferred. * Experience in an educational setting preferred. * Skills: writing (AP style preferred), website management or basic html knowledge, proficient personal computer skills (email, Microsoft Office, Outlook, etc.), record keeping, budgeting, email marketing, organizational social media and database management.
