Exciting opportunity to join the marketing team for a dynamic business in period of rapid growth and expansion.

The Marketing Specialist will be the product marketing lead for retirement solutions focused on Financial advisors, Asset Managers, Third Party Administrators and RecordKeepers, as well as relevant trade associations and industry influencers. This role is an important partner to the Fi360 Solutions and Matrix business lines specifically and contributes to the growth and success of the company's largest business unit, Investor Communication Services (ICS).

The successful candidate will be joining the retirement marketing team for Matrix and Fi360 during a time of growth and product innovation. This presents an exciting opportunity to support new product roadmap and the acquisition and retention marketing of our advisor solutions, while driving growth for our data and analytics in adjacent sectors including asset management.

The individual will work with partners in sales, product development and client services to develop and execute impactful product collateral, sales tools and communications, supporting the Marketing Director. They will execute across a broad range of digital marketing tools.

They will work across the various marketing groups and shared Marketing functions, including Brand, Digital, Marketing Communications and Corporate Communications.

The individual will report to the VP of Marketing for the Asset Management businesses with whom they will partner on key marketing initiatives and work closely with other members of the Mutual Fund and Retirement marketing team members. They will have a dotted line into the sales team leads for Fi360 to help drive sales and marketing alignment.

They will have B-to-B marketing experience, preferably in the retirement, wealth, or asset management industries. The specialist will have experience in developing product marketing materials (sell sheets, placemats, Powerpoint presentations) marketing communications i.e. email campaigns and lead generation programs. S/he needs to be digital savvy, nimble and an excellent project manager.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrating deep industry knowledge to articulate our value propositions and capabilities in product marketing collateral.

  • Working side by side with sales leaders to ensure that the sales teams understand our value propositions and can clearly articulate our story in a compelling way through effective sales enablement strategy and tools.

  • Representing Marketing at key business, product, sales leadership meetings and report progress.

  • Advising voice of customer research and market intelligence.

  • Contributing ideas and strategies to advise the Marketing plans for Fi360/Matrix that help drive sales and client retention.

The Marketing Specialist will work with the Director of Retirement Marketing to develop, deliver, track, and refine marketing content, including but not limited to:

Client Communications

Product placemats

Cheat sheets

Reason to call notes

Sell sheets

Website product content

Sales decks

QBR materials

Database management

Maintaining the Accent library

Sales Analytics

Pricing promotions

Product demos - videos

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

  • Sales/Marketing professional with 5+ years of experience, preferably in retirement, wealth, or asset management, with a strong bias for acquisition and lead generation. The successful candidate will be versed in digital marketing, SEM, product marketing and content marketing.

  • Marketing Communications professional with excellent copy writing skills

  • Demonstrated experience developing marketing strategies, programs and sales tools that deliver strong business results.

  • Critical thinking/analysis skills; ability to evaluate business challenges and develop solutions to deliver profitable business growth - with an equal enjoyment of being strategic as well as the accomplishment from "rolling up your sleeves" to deliver.

  • Strong interpersonal and partnership skills to influence key stakeholders and build support across the organization.

  • Adaptable and able to work in a changing environment, with the ability to organize, prioritize and work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with executives and a variety of audiences.

  • Strong project management skills including campaign management. .

  • Results focused and analytical

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Word, PowerPoint and Excel; experience with Salesforce, Percolate, Eloqua, EveryoneSocial and On24 - or similar software platform - is a plus.
