As Senior Marketing Analyst, you will be part of the marketing team supporting our analytical and business intelligence needs to inform business decisions. You will play a crucial role in planning, forecasting, and analyzing performance to enable our team to drive growth efficiently, evolving our marketing campaigns and budget planning process, and hitting our growth targets.
You will work with the Marketing, Finance, Analytics, and Growth teams to leverage internal data, analytics applications, vendor reports, and market insights. You will collect our reporting and forecasting requirements and aggregate, analyze data from different sources. You will interpret and present analytical results to different business stakeholders.
You have a strong quantitative background and previous experience in an analyst role. You are a creative problem solver, and have a passion to work through large amounts of data from different sources to create digestible insights. You'll work with an amazing group of people with a diverse skill set, from growth marketers to data scientists - we all work closely to build the best customer experience imaginable.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about scaling a business and analyzing results, who can demonstrate strong business judgment and is able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
WHAT WILL I WORK ON EVERY DAY?
Develop and manage growth/forecasting model
Help the growth team optimize paid media acquisition, funnel and conversion behavior to hit growth targets
Meet with stakeholders to understand analytical needs and define metrics/KPIs/reports
Ensure on-time & accurate delivery of regular KPIs, reports and forecasts
Design and build analytics tools, dashboards and reports for the marketing team
Compile analyses for reports and make presentations to a broad audience, including senior team members, to shape strategic and operational decisions
Connect and generate insights out of disparate primary and third party sources
WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE DO I NEED TO SUCCEED?
2+ years in analyst role
Analytically oriented with ability to interpret trends and correlations
Strong communication and presentation skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders at different levels of the organization
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and maintain performance level in a fast paced agile environment with changing priorities and deadlines
BA/BS degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, or equivalent practical experience
Experience with statistical software (R, Stata, SAS, Python or similar) a plus
Understanding of core statistical concepts such as hypothesis testing, A/B testing, regression, and confidence intervals
Experience writing complex SQL queries
Microsoft Excel proficiency, including pivot tables, look up functions and charts
Experience with Looker, Tableau or other reporting/BI tools preferred
