The senior marketing analyst is responsible for analyzing all marketing activities, developing a deep understanding of our target consumer and leveraging those insights to influence our overall marketing strategy. This role requires an analytic thinker who is comfortable pulling data from disparate data sources to uncover opportunities that improve the performance of our marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to integrated marketing strategy by analyzing and reporting on performance of online marketing channels including website, blog, email / lead nurturing, social media, organic search, and paid search

  • Develop strong hypotheses, independently solve problems, and uncover business insights and opportunities across marketing channels to drive growth

  • Analyze the performance and profitability of marketing efforts at the channel, tactic and segment level to optimize spend and performance

  • Extract and integrate data from various sources and provide insight to understand audiences and behaviors

  • Create and develop smart, compelling reports that track KPIs and provide actionable recommendations

  • Provide support in managing and interpreting data from a response attribution model

  • Support primary and secondary research on brand health and campaign effectiveness

  • Operate seamlessly between being a business-savvy internal consultant and a highly technical analyst, with the ability to clearly communicate insights to senior leadership

  • Complete other projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Below are the minimum requirements of the education, experience, knowledge, and skills required to competently perform in this position.

  • BS Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Applied Analytics or a quantitative professional designation

  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with databases, reporting on data and working in an analytical capacity

  • 2+ years of in digital marketing experience required

  • MS SQL programming to support analytic projects and dashboards

  • Experience with visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.), web analytics tools (Google Analytics) and CRM solutions (SalesForce) is required

  • Experience analyzing paid media metrics is a plus

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and excel with little guidance and supervision.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Advanced Excel skills including proficiency pivot tables, reports, graphs, and more

The Senior Digital Marketing Analyst will play a key role in generating actionable insights that drive strategic marketing programs and commercial actions. She/he will analyze marketing funnel performance, pipeline and revenue to provide clear, actionable recommendations that will increase conversions into sales. This individual will collaborate with internal and external partners to provide best-in-class marketing reporting, analyses and forecasts to support execution and measurement of all online and offline marketing programs. Description: * Develop an analytics and reporting framework to accurately assess the impact of our marketing programs, generating dashboards and weekly reports for our global teams. * Utilize advanced statistical modeling to build reports and models on marketing funnel performance, pipeline, forecasts, lead generation, customer acquisition and marketing ROI. * Analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and tactics by measuring and tracking metrics such as conversion rates, website performance, campaign metrics and marketing ROI. * Analyze data through multiple data sources to answer key questions around new customer acquisition and engagement campaigns. * Analyze all available existing data sets to determine which variables are more predictive of marketing awareness building and lead generation performance. * Identify high-value audience segments and influencers and develop go-to-market positioning in collaboration with the product marketing and revenue marketing teams. * Correlate quantitative and qualitative search data to generate new campaigns, taking into consideration search behavior, product selection and potential revenue * Build a multi-touch attribution model to analyze and report on marketing sourced and marketing influenced pipeline and revenue. * Counsel stakeholders on how to accurately interpret data and determine campaign effectiveness. * Perform detailed market segmentation analysis to identify current market penetration and new market opportunities * Actively partner with related groups in marketing and IT to facilitate and manage cross-team efforts to turn insights into practice. * Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, marketing, business or other related field. * 5+ years of related experience working on a marketing or sales team. * 3+ years of experience utilizing standard statistical tools (ex. R, Python, SAS, RapidMiner). * 1+ years of experience using data visualization tools (ex. Tableau). * 1+ years of Intermediate SQL experience. * Google Analytics & Google AdWords certified preferred. * Proven experience with CRM (ex. Salesforce), marketing automation (ex. Marketo, Eloqua, Pardot), data warehouse (ex. Redshift) and data visualization tools (ex.
