Position Summary
Job Description
This dynamic individual will work in our global headquarters in Alpharetta, Georgia and will be responsible for assisting in the creation of actionable, innovative analytics and information to drive decision-making for Scientific Games and our customers. They will collaborate across many areas of SG to determine the information needed and the appropriate research to be designed, procured, and completed. Accurate findings from these types of projects will help drive business decisions.
Primary functions include:
External Customer Research
Assist with contractual projects
Coordinate internal data collection activities to client specifications, on time and on budget.
Proactively contact clients by phone and email to finalize project specifications and provide consultative updates throughout the project life cycle.
Communicate with Account Lead on study status and any issues
Work with the Director to ensure project design meets client needs by providing consultation to clients concerning research best practices
Support existing account relationships to ensure they remain healthy, productive, profitable, and mutually beneficial, with a goal of securing repeat business and achievement of targeted revenues
Internal Customer Research
Same as above, except supporting internal SG customers, including product development, marketing, and communication efforts
Explore innovative research techniques
Advance SG's leadership position in the industry by bringing to market new and innovative approaches to data collection and research
Voice of the Customer Research (VoC)
Capture and generate both quantitative and qualitative VoC insights on all aspects of customer interactions and identify customer pain points, challenges, and obstacles.
Support Customer Experience team in researching the customer experience, identifying root case issues and mapping customer journeys
Work with cross-functional teams to identify research questions, and design and manage qualitative and quantitative research efforts to meet the needs of multiple stakeholders, collaborating with stakeholders throughout the process.
Support projects with external research vendors, ensuring timeline delivery of project deliverables and serve as liaison between external vendors and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
Experience and Qualifications Needed
1-4 years professional experience
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Market Research, or a related field, or 4 years of related experience in lieu of Bachelor's
Detail-oriented; able to multi-task; strong organizational skills
Experience with survey design and statistics is ideal
Experience with SPSS and/or other statistical analysis packages is ideal
Experience with online survey tool programming and reporting, desirable
Familiarity with primary segmentation research, a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint are a must
Proficient in Tableau
Superior analytical reasoning, oral and written communication skills
Experience with primary research such as focus groups, surveys and in-field data gathering, a plus
Must be comfortable balancing needs of the company and the customer
Must be well-organized and detail oriented.
Must be resourceful, persistent, and not afraid to ask questions
An ability to absorb large amounts of information in a high energy, fast-paced environment
Reacts to change productively and displays a solution-driven approach
